According to WWE sources, WWE is targeting SummerSlam to be the launch of the Network in The UK.

At the start of 2014, the original timeline had the Network being available in the UK by the end of the calendar year. The technical issues have mostly been worked out and the Network is performing at a high enough level as seen with the WrestleMania stream. This coupled with the fact that WWE business recently took a sizable hit on Wall Street, WWE wants to pick up the pace on getting the Network available internationally to boost revenue.

There have been two ideas within WWE regarding the UK launch. One idea is to build it around launching on SummerSlam weekend, and the other is to have it launch a few weeks prior to SummerSlam. From the people WZ talked to, it seems launching before SummerSlam weekend is what they hope, so any issues that come up with a surge of new subscribers can be fixed before the second biggest event of the year.

WWE Diva AJ Lee is not expected to make her WWE return until after her wedding and marriage to CM Punk which takes place next month.

The plan was originally for Lee to be back either in late May or early June.

WWE is interested in signing reigning IWGP Jr. Champion Kota Ibushi, who is considered by many to be the one of the best high-flyers in the industry.

Last year Ibushi signed a very unique deal which allows him to wrestle at big events for New Japan Pro Wrestling while wrestling regularly for the DDT promotion.

Hoping to boost flagging viewership, Total Non-Stop Action (TNA) Wrestling announced today it will launch a new content-delivery format called We-Pay-You-Per-Views.

As opposed to the traditional Pay-Per-View model ? in which viewers exchange a given amount of money for access to high-profile wrestling events ? TNA?s new model will ?incentive viewership through a viewer-compensation platform.?

In short, wrestling fans will be awarded payment ? ranging between $39.99 and $49.99, depending on whether Rockstar Spud is performing ? to watch a TNA wrestling event in its entirety.

?Because the PPV model is not working optimally for us, we are transitioning to the innovative WPYPV system,? said TNA President Dixie Carter in a press release.

?We believe our buyrates ? that is, payrates ? will indicate huge boosts in viewership.?

Although most pundits agree that TNA?s viewership will drastically increase with this month?s WPYPV, the success will be offset by the catastrophic debt the company will immediately incur.

    • Forza Horizon 6 gets big bug-fixing and balancing update by Taras Buria Today, Playground Games released a big Forza Horizon 6 update with a long list of fixes, patches, and balancing tweaks that the studio promised earlier. Version 375.327 is now available on Steam, Microsoft Store, and Xbox, offering users improvements for AI, audio, design, performance, road discovery, upgrades, visuals, online play, and more. Some of the most notable changes in the Series 2 update include rebalanced drivatars, particularly their difficulty and race start behavior. As such, the game should be more balanced on higher difficulty levels, and AI cars should not shoot out when the race starts as if they have rocket boosters. Speaking of difficulty, developers nerfed Drag Tires physics for a more expected and realistic behavior. They are no longer the go-to option for record-breaking times in road racing, and all leaderboard entries with drag tires will be removed. Completionists will also be glad to get a new feature that lets you see road discovery percentage in each region, which should make discovering all roads easier while keeping it quite challenging and interesting (I spent quite a long time finding the last road). Festival Playlist is also getting some much-needed fixes, including patches for bugs that allowed completing Seasonal Jobs ahead of time or where weekly challenges would not unlock for some players. Developers will retroactively give reward points to all who could not complete all challenges due to these bugs. Other changes include changes to Horizon Play progression so that it is easier to reach Level 100, audio improvements on lower-spec devices, fixes for visual glitches, including pixelated smoke, and more. Developers also addressed the currently non-working Eliminator, an online mode gamers used to farm credits with a Hummer EV exploit. Playground Games plans to re-enable it soon. As a gesture of goodwill, players will get a free McLaren Sabre. Those who used the exploit will not be banned, but developers plan to roll back credits to a maximum of 10M for all who farmed credits using the exploit. You can find the complete changelog for the latest Forza Horizon 6 update here.
