Thursday's episode of TNA Impact Wrestling, which went up against the WWE NXT Arrival show on the WWE Network, did not rank in the top 100 cable TV shows for adults 25-54 for the entire day.

This is not a good sign for the viewership or the rating. This is only about the third time in TNA history that this has happened.

WWE Network is going to finish off TNA with NXT being on every Thursday.

TNA just needs to accept it will never compete with the WWE. The best thing they can do now is move it to a night where there's no wrestling and no big television or sport.

The problem there is in America, there's big TV shows or sport every night.

I don't think it is a matter of competing with WWE, that won't ever happen just due to the name.   I think they still have higher ratings than NXT.  In a lot of ways, TNA has a better product than WWE, especially over the past 4 or 5 months.  They just don't draw the same crowds outside of the UK.

Over the past 4 or 5 months, whenever Bischoff got the boot from TNA, they have really turned a corner and have put out a much better product.

I have enjoyed it much more than the PG crap WWE are still putting out.  Although there is much room for improvement.

According to reports, WWE is strongly considering the possibility of adding a third person to the WWE World Heavyweight Championship main event at WrestleMania XXX between Randy Orton and Batista. The latest internal lineup in the company reads, ?Batista vs. Orton vs. ??

Other WrestleMania XXX matches that have been discussed internally, but not yet decided on, include Big E. vs. Dean Ambrose in a match to unify the WWE United States and WWE Intercontinental Championships, Luke Harper and Erick Rowan vs. Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins, Sheamus vs. Christian, Goldust vs. Cody Rhodes and a match pitting two NXT wrestlers against each other in a match on the main card.

Damn, hard to think that these words would ever be in the same sentence. The guy was a genius back in the WCW days...

Yeah, the problem he had was nWo was his one and only idea and tried to recreate it with the Aces & 8s.  Unfortunately he was 10 years too late :/  BUT, TNA has definitely gotten better since all his ideas got the boot.

Sometimes, only one idea is enough :) And that was the case with the nWo, it was genius and look at the scale it got to back then. And I don't think that the Aces & 8s problem was about being 10 years late, I think it's about the characters and their charisma. It's really, really hard for me to think at someone today that can look, talk and act as cool as these guys (well, at least the original nWo). Just look at the reaction of the people at Hall's first 2 words :) Can't top that as a heel.

problem with Ace's and 8's is they really lacked the quality nWo had, storyline and characters wise; not only it had Scott Hall, Nash, Henning, Macho Man and Hogan (who has the every kid hero and shocked the world by turning heel) but it also had the biggest anti-face they could possibly face: Sting.

It was a really damn good idea and promotion and the one that trully shacked WWE then.

still remember the night that nWo invaded WCW, when every match nWo won, either by pinfall or DQ

True. People were truly thinking that Hall and Nash were WWE members, I think it was more than Bischoff expected from the story. Also, Bash @ the Beach 96 was the biggest surprise ever, nobody was expecting that outcome.

Yeah, a great wrestling era, I'm so damn proud that I grew up with that :) Today...soap operas, that's it...

maybe slide in a NXT title match? Would be good if they can give it the minutes.

This doesn't surprise me seeing as the matches prospect is awful

Ok, Batisita vs Orton vs who ....? who but Super Cena?

Daniel Bryan or C.M. Punk? That would be fan favourites but these two have been screwed over and over that it is not funny anymore.

Unification match between the US and Intercontinental title? without any build up? with the Undertaker - Lesnar match which has much higher stakes. That would reduce the title value even more.

Reigns/Rollins vs Harper/Rollins has a potential for match of the PPV given the previous performance at Elimination Chamber.

The only match that picked my interest would be Undertaker vs Lesnar.

WWE is rather stale for me at the moment. I'll admit I am getting my wrestling dose from New Japan Prop Wrestling: they have some amazing talent there too.

Yeah, every time I hear that I wonder what Joey Styles thinks these days about that comment.

Also, Tommy Dreamer bleed like a stuck pig in that match at the PPV. I mean cheese grater or not on the face, either he bladed to bad to quickly or Bubba sliced him real good with the cheese grater. And when his wife hugged him at the end and you could see the blood just soaked on her hair, ewwwww. Dunno why that grosses me out lol

The problem is they dont have any talent* for the third slot! Cena is gonna face Bray, Bryan is gonna face HHH...They can throw a surveball: Completely turn Cesaro by him leaving Swagger and put him in the WWE title match. We know he isnt gonna win but...

* - CM Punk but.....lets see this RAW

Big E and Dean were talked about at EC as well and that never happened. Big E is kinda "stuck" because he cant grow but because of his matches, he cant really fall. I feel WWE doesnt really know what to do with him right now. Let him ride the IC train and we will see later.... Ambrose is a completely joke right now. Not wrestling wise but he has a title whose value is worth 0, his original spotlight as the Shield leader (and star) has drastically shifted....

I have zero intrest in watching Harper/Rowan vs Reigns/Rollins. These guys, more on the Shield's side, need singles matches. Also for me personally, it would be awesome to watch these six go for the US title in a TLC match. I think Rollins can certify himself in a ladder match but....its too "out there" for WWE to do something like this.

Sheamus vs Christian? Bathroom break.

The Rhodes match I think could surprisingly steal the show. Goldust has returned these months to tune his skills and make one last WM match. He, right now, is a better performer than half of the WWE roster at 44 years of age.

Also, I think they are gonna make AJ drop at WM. Tamina is the obvious choice.

And I like the NXT idea; Noone watches NXT except true wrestling fans. It would give the product a lot more exposure.

Also, on the idea and subject of NXT, I think they can use NXT as a platform, not only to train up comers but to get away from that PG image. Allow more "adult like" content on NXT. Im not saying turn it into a ECW but some light blood, cursing, etc....Just a thought I had the other day.

BTW, just a thought for WWE, but this Monday is the Chicago RAW I believe. If they try some CM Punk music and bring out HHH or some other BS, they might boo all night, including for Bryan. I would try to ignore all possible CM Punk chants and just keep on talking and talking during all promos...that or bring out the Undertaker

Yeah, it would be interesting to know. He was understandably ###### off at the time with Mike Awesome for what he did to ECW. Despite that remark, it was still one hell of a match... http://www.dailymotion.com/video/x15vq3d_mike-awesome-vs-masato-tanaka-one-night-stand-2005_sport (I don't know if Dailymotion videos can be embedded on here, so just the link)

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
    • Well I really think the repasting helped if your higher clocks have returned, maybe the next thing to look at is if there is a problem with your case airflow? I guess this because your 3080 has returned to optimal state, but is still staying too warm, which might suggest it was thermal throttling before you repasted, of which the only logical conclusion could be outside factors.
    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know by Hamid Ganji Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Image via Samsung The next generation of Samsung foldables is set to be unveiled next month at the second Unpacked event of the year. Samsung’s 2026 foldables are not expected to offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, with the Korean firm instead focusing on design refinements and conventional upgrades such as faster processors and better cameras. However, Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil an all-new passport-style foldable this year to rival Apple’s first foldable iPhone, which is expected to debut this September. Here’s a roundup of everything we know about Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices ahead of their official debut. When can we expect Samsung’s new foldables? The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series were unveiled in July, and Samsung is expected to maintain this timeframe in 2026. Based on previous reports from Korean sources, Samsung will hold its Unpacked event on July 22 in London, UK, to pull back the curtain on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series. The devices are also expected to hit the shelves a few weeks after launch. However, Samsung has yet to announce an official date. A new naming scheme? One of the most interesting changes we might see this year is a new naming scheme for Samsung’s latest foldables. SamMobile reported that since Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables this year, it has adopted a new naming strategy to simplify product identification for customers. Accordingly, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 will reportedly be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and will serve as the direct successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. The “Ultra” suffix suggests the phone could feature higher-end specifications, such as additional rear camera modules. Samsung’s new passport-style foldable is expected to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name without any suffix. This model is reportedly equipped with two rear cameras. No major changes are expected for the Flip model. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 anticipated specs Rumors over the past few months suggest Samsung is preparing several upgrades for its upcoming foldables, although the devices may continue to rely on larger batteries and faster charging speeds rather than dramatic design changes. The primary focus this year is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its wide-screen design. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here are the anticipated specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra based on previous leaks: 6.5-inch outer display and 8-inch inner display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,600 nits peak brightness Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage 4.1mm thickness when unfolded and a weight of 210g 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, 10MP or 12MP telephoto camera, 10MP cover camera, and 10MP selfie camera 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 As for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the device is not expected to be a major departure from its predecessor, although it could become slightly slimmer. Expected specifications include: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 processor 12GB of RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner dispaly and 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer dispaly 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 Samsung’s foldables are also expected to launch with Gemini Intelligence, Google’s AI suite for automating tasks in Android ecosystem. Moreover, given current memory and component costs, some Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 variants could see a price hike. Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a wide-screen design The centerpiece of the upcoming Unpacked event could be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, previously rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. This model adopts a passport-style form factor and is expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone Fold. Galaxy Z Fold 8 official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here’s what to expect: 7.6-inch primary OLED display and 5.4-inch cover display, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and 4:3 aspect ratio Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options 4,800mAh battery with 45W wired charging 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera Android 17 and One UI 9 The three new foldable phones are unlikely to be the only devices unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch 9 series.
