Legendary professional wrestler Sting is ?100 percent confirmed? to make a much-anticipated appearance at a pay-per-view event Sunday, according to a 1992 recording on the WCW Hotline.

 
Wrestling commentator Tony Shiavone confirmed on the hotline (1-900-909-9900) that the ?rampant rumors are true,? and that the Stinger will defend his WCW World Heavyweight Championship against Lex Luger at SuperBrawl II.
 
Fans who called the hotline ? at a fee of $2.99 for the first minute and $1.99 for each additional minute ? were universally overjoyed to get official confirmation of Sting?s appearance via the fast, high-tech medium of a recorded phone message.
 
Rumors of Sting?s appearance at the pay-per-view had previously been printed in Dave Meltzer?s Wrestler Observer Newsletter, which provides the most up-to-date wrestling news and gossip on a biweekly basis.
 
The confirmation of Sting?s impending pay-per-view title defence caused a stir among the tape-trading community, since fans who have a cable de-scrambler box will record the event on VHS cassettes to mail among their friends.
 
The WCW Hotline also told fans to keep an eye on an up-and-coming rookie named ?Stunning? Steve Austin, but the Wrestling Observer Newsletter insists he?ll never amount to anything.

Divas' SS match: Alicia Fox, Emma, Naomi and Natalya vs. Paige, Cameron, Layla and Summer Rae - Still feels like this is gonna be the bathroom break match, just an extra-long one.

WWE Tag Team Championship: Gold and Stardust © vs. The Usos vs. Los Matadores vs. Miz and Mizdow

Dean Ambrose vs. Bray Wyatt

WWE Divas Championship: AJ Lee © vs. Nikki Bella

Survivor Series match: Team Cena (John Cena, Dolph Ziggler, Big Show, Erick Rowan and Ryback) vs. Team Authority (Seth Rollins, Kane, Mark Henry, Rusev and Luke Harper) - With the extra stipulation tacked onto the match on SmackDown this week (if Team Authority win, Team Cena except Cena himself gets fired), they pretty much gave away the result.

      As much as I love owning my own hardware, it's hard to argue with the value. I'm not a huge gamer, I'd actually be interested in a cheaper plan with limited monthly hours, or even a pay-by-the-hour plan.

      Well, they (LibreOffice/The Document Foundation) are bitchy and whiny, yes, but they're right, at least this time. It doesn't make sense to market something as "free and open source to thwart dependency on foreign companies' software" but at the same time, using the formats of said companies (Microsoft) by default. That way, you are changing nothing, essentially, you're just using another UI. We all know that users just use the defaults and almost never change them. I'm not saying they should drop other formats altogether, but they shouldn't default to the thing they're trying to run away from in the first place. If you're gonna do something, just go all the way in, don't stop in the middle, IMO. Otherwise, shut up and move along.

      I'm surprised they haven't found a way to fix that. As much as I don't like software wasting memory, a file manager is the kind of thing that makes sense to keep running in active memory for super-fast recall. I suspect that is why MS makes their File Explorer part of the main explorer.exe shell, so that it is guaranteed to always be running.
