ambiance
I managed to get all the extensions I use working with exception to Google Images Re-Linker. I use small icons for the toolbar and find the back/forward buttons look even worse than when it's set to large. Maybe it'll grow on me...
ambiance
Has anyone had trouble with Windows Live mail and why is sort by name disabled?
ObiWanToby
Voil?! Damn that looks better in OSX than in Vista. Man I want del.icio.us to work:((
toadeater
Some Asian character encodings don't work for me anymore. I get these small boxes with hex codes in them instead if letters. A few extensions stopped working, but that's to be expected. The download manager is malfunctioning. Doesn't close automatically most of the time. Everything else seems to be good. Speed is a huge improvement on most sites. It used to be that Firefox would stall with pages that are filled with dozens of images and flash, etc., now it's smooth and responsive. I've never seen Firefox this fast before. Stability appears to be better so far. Good work, Mozilla.
Chosen One
Using it as we speak and LOVE IT using it on Vista Ultimate. I use a addon called Nightly tester tools, it has an option to force compatibly on the addons that don't work for the version you are using. The_Decryptor Veteran Posted March 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted March 15, 2008 I wish they would add a few more tab-related features. Load homepage in new tab, single window mode, new tab button on tab bar. I know this can all be achieved by using extensions but the having the options there by default would be nice. Single Window Mode has been in Firefox since 1.
gigapixels Veteran Posted March 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted March 15, 2008 Single Window Mode has been in Firefox since 1.0 I think he's referring to things such as popups that create new windows. Single Window Mode would force any sort of popups to go to tabs (not just target: blank popups but also javascript window.open popups).
The_Decryptor Veteran Posted March 15, 2008 Veteran Share Posted March 15, 2008 Certain popups have to open in a new window (like ones that are being controlled by the owner web page) It'd be jarring to be browsing around, then have a website in another tab close the tab you're using. Restart Firefox.
