I usually enjoy WWDC, but this will even be my first as a Mac owner. Hopefully we will get to see 10.6 as is rumored.

Not sure if the iPhone can win me over still though, but I love gadgets, so it'll be interesting to see. I use my phone for too much and the iPhone just isn't powerful enough for me yet. Hopefully that will change.

They would still sell hardware IMO if they did this. Plus, if they did a partnership with an OEM they could make money off that hardware (Dell, I'm sure, would jump at a chance to sell OS X).

Dell already said they would love to sell computers with OSX..... but I still don't think Apple will do that

looks like a Developers System of some type. with all SDK's etc. lol

Doesn't make much sense though. You can already run OS X, Windows, and Linux on EVERY Intel Mac, and the SDKs and such are free. Then again, I wouldn't put it past Apple to manage to make you think you needed something that you already have, haha.

Forgot to post link/source,

http://www.tuaw.com/2008/06/08/rumor-mac-f...-developer-mac/

On WWDC Eve, we at TUAW are hard at work keeping an eye out for the unknown and unexpected. We just received a tip showing what appears to be the Mac Nano computer that we've all wanted -- and it looks to be aimed towards the developer crowd.

The pictures appear to show a Mac geared towards developers on Windows and Linux systems. "Leave Windows behind. Build your Apps for OS X" states the title. While we are extremely cautious about rumors like these right before WWDC, we did have a rumor that a "new Mac" or at least an updated Mac might be released.

Macfusion could be like those Sony PS3, Xbox etc.. developer kits....special systems for developing games to run on PS3...so this could be an all-in-one kit to help devs design new software for Macs

after all it is a Developer Conference. lol I'm speculating

Maybe the mac fusion could be a slimmed down OSX, more like an SDK kind of thing, on an external hard drive, intended to be booted from. It could also be an uber cheap mac, but that would require developers to change their computer... while a bootable os x could be better.

who knows.

I like fakes :D
