Quick question on warnings.

Recommended Posts

I was just wondering how (if possible) I can reduce the 80% warning thing on my account.

Thanks in advance.

After 6 months time has passed from your last warning, the warning will be reduced automatically by 20%. It will continue to be reduced by 20% each six-month period, provided you remain warning free. :).

I thought a warning over a certain percentage was displayed publicly ?!?

Not yet, it's a plan for the future.

Radish?

Oh right - That'll explain why I can't see anybody's warn:pg :p

When you say "for the future", can you give us an estimate, or you keeping it under wraps for now ?

  • 1 year later...

Displaying people's warn percentages in public is a ludicrous idea, and will just cause more flaming and arguments, the only possible purpose that could serve would be for people to use it against each other in arguments.

While I do think that you're right, I can imagine that a public display of a warn level at, lets say, 60%+ would prevent some trouble...

I could imagine that some users think like "well I got 60% but what the hell....as long as I don't get 100%"....but having it displayed might let someone with a high warning rate think about stuff...;)
