Favorite CD's

Recommended Posts

Okay, everyone has a favorite cd. I'm not talking about what you consider the best cd's of all time (damn it's hard for me not to say "album", :D that's a dead giveaway of your age, btw)

I'm talking about the cd that you always come back to and listen to. The ones that you wear out because you play them all the time. The mp3z (hehe, come on, no self respecting computer geek plays cd's anymore anyway unless its the one that you made with 250 songs on it for your car) that drive your friends and loved ones up the wall because that's all you play.

Here are mine, in no particular order:

1. joshua tree - u2

2. dark side of the moon - pink floyd

3. decade - neil young

4. nirvana - nevermind

5. giant steps - john coltrane

6. kind of blue - miles davis

7. thelonius monk with john coltrane - thelonious monk/john coltrane

8. american beauty - grateful dead

9. what's going on - marvin gaye

10. stop making sense - talking heads

Honorable mentions:

Trinity Sessions - Cowboy Junkies

Peter Case - Peter Case

What are yours?

It's been in my changer for almost a year now. I just can't get enough of it. If you even sorta like Aimee Mann, you've got to check it out.

Suicidal Tendencies are cool Skull,

my favourite cd is 'Master of no Mercy/Controlled by Hatred' e.p.

(which i have on vinyl :))

(althou 'Asleep at the Wheel' is one of the most innovative and original songs ever written, with a very unique song structure (especially in the bassline))

baphomet_ie: Asleep at the Wheel's probably my favourite tune on the album :) Rocky George is underrated, IMHO.

Now maybe I should fill in my location which I somehow forgot when I plugged in my prefs :ermm:
