That TV sure as hell doesn't fit you're otherwise awesome setup :p

You're probably right, but that TV has been great for me. My parents bought it for me as a birthday gift when I was in high school. It lasted all through college and it's still going strong.

Please tell me what desk that is! It's gorgeous.

Thank you. It is a Z-Line Matrix from Staples.

Wow - awesome setup!

How exactly did you do the cable management?

Thanks. The frosted glass conceals the cables from the top. :)

Nice mouse wahoo24jc ;)

Thanks. I love Logitech mice. I have had the MX500, MX518, and now the G5.

and how do you do with your mtb after a muddy training and carpet in your office? clean bike every time?

I clean it before I bring it in the office.

^

second that. Even bike's chain is shining. :)

Talk about Clean LOL HEHE nice one :D

Thanks. I am a bit of a neat freak. ;)

What Indian's video set is that on your bookshelf?

The video set is "10 Years of Indians Highlights" celebrating the 10th anniversary of Jacobs Field. I'm a big fan of the Cleveland Indians! :D

Is it a good idea to leave the tower on the carpet?

I guess so. It's been there for 2 years without any issues.

nice setup wahoo looks like ill be going to staples soon

Thank you. I bought the desk almost 2 years ago, so I'm not sure if it's still available in stores.

I'm not sure if this would be the appropriate forum for posting this, but I actually couldn't think of a better place to post this.

I've seen some fantastic Workstation setups here - really, very impressive work by many.

I have recently had a spot of good luck during the long stretch of problem-after-problem over the last 4 years, so I'm asking for just a small bit of help here. The "spot of good luck" has been my very-recent-and-free aquisition of an IKEA Jerker desk....sans the swing-out stands that attach on either side of the vertical rails.

In short: if anyone has any spares that they are not needing / using I'd be forever grateful if you could send me a PM. Since IKEA re-named the desk as the Fredrick, it seems like none of the stores have those stands. We're not in a very good financial position right now (waiting for SSI Disability to kick-in), so the least cost the better.

To Forum mods: Please forgive this post, but I'm out of options and thought that the friendships here could prove to be usefull. If anyone has other, reasonable options, please let me know.

Thanks!

    • I agree when are you going to read this (really poor BTW) article?
    • I disagree; they come off very "bitchy" and "whiny". Make a great product and combine that with a great price (free) and people will come over to your side. Or build it and they will come as they say. Constantly trying to get attention by complaining all the time, will turn people off to your product.
    • It use to be a nightmare, with LibreOffice supporting a newer draft ODF standard by default, and Microsoft Office supporting the older non-draft standard. Now that they both support the same version of ODF, they should be interoperable.
    • Brave Browser 1.91.171 by Razvan Serea Brave Browser is a lightning-fast, secure web browser that stands out from the competition with its focus on privacy, security, and speed. With features like HTTPS Everywhere and built-in tracker blocking, Brave keeps your online activities safe from prying eyes. Brave is one of the safest browsers on the market today. It blocks third-party data storage. It protects from browser fingerprinting. And it does all this by default. Speed - Brave is built on Chromium, the same technology that powers Google Chrome, and is optimized for speed, providing a fast and responsive browsing experience. Brave Browser also features Brave Rewards, a system that rewards users with Basic Attention Tokens (BAT) for viewing opt-in ads. This innovative system provides an alternative revenue model for content creators and a way to support the Brave community. SlimBrave Neo takes all the good things about Brave and makes them even better by keeping everything clean, light, and privacy-focused. It removes the extra clutter, turns off features you might not need, and cuts down on anything that could slow you down or collect unnecessary data. Because it relies on simple settings and policies instead of modifying the browser itself, you still get full Brave compatibility—just in a smoother, lighter, and more privacy-friendly package. Brave Browser 1.91.171 changelog: General Fixed Cardano not being disabled on upgrade to Brave Origin. Upgraded Chromium to 149.0.7827.103. Origin Removed “Survey Panelist” setting from brave://settings/privacy. Fixed P3A and usage ping under brave://settings/privacy being displayed on first launch on Linux. • Hi. As the title suggests, I can't access the forum on my phone. I'm using Edge on Android and when I try to navigate to the forum I get a "we value your privacy" popup and none of the buttons are clickable. It effectively stonewalls me from reading any forum content.
