I do believe that windows xp sp 3 is on windows update.

I write this due to running a cmd file that makes the registry accept windows update allowing sp3.

If you install this ->>>> XPSP3.zip

After windows update and reboot, you get this:

Well I downloaded your little patch and it hasn't found the sp on the windows update page. It has been scanning now for about 10 minutes so I am guessing doesn't work. *Well it finally finished scanning and doesn't find the sp3 rc refresh. I do have a x64 bit machine is that going to make a difference?

It's fairly easy to slipstream a service pack into XP yourself unlike Vista SP1.

If your running XP X64 then yes. The X64 version is built off the Server 2003 codebase
