That's still pretty good! Some people play this 24/7 and to be close to them as a more casual gamer is a good acheievement. I get in the top 20 somewhere, maybe even a lucky 3rd place.

Yusss. I got Trackmania United through the post and it's also AMAZING. It's just Nations with more cars and track locations etc. Awesomeo. Well worth it for the ?5 I payed for it.

Hmm.. This does not happen to me. There is something wrong with your system. Try reinstalling the game.

Fraid it's not anything to do with my pc. As this is the only app and game i've ever used/played that thinks it makes sense to completely disregard button presses for seconds at a time. Perhaps i expect too much for free...

You can always report your problem to Nadeo, maybe they can fix it somehow.

Hm. While i may have said the game itself is decent, the controls certainly aren't. The complete and total loss of acceleration, half the time randomly, is rather ridiculous.

Are you using a gamepad or keyboard ?

I've had a similar problem using a 360 gamepad, I had accelerate and brake mapped on both trigger buttons as well as the digital buttons above each, while using the right trigger to accelerate if I catch the button above I will lose acceleration.

I really like this game, but it keeps on freezing on me. have tried many different drivers(geforce) both on xp sp3 and vista 64 bit. getting very annoying.

Have you changed the server to time attack? and not the mode where if you fail or finish the track you have to wait for everyone else to finish?

No cheats as the game is online.

The server has always been the same ive just switched it from a listen to a dedicated server, ive just changed the map rotation so we have a few new tracks now as well.

If anyone wants their track to be included on the server then you can email me and i will add your track to the server

A fair warning to anyone who goes onto the Binary Squadron server. Some of my tracks are on there now, and they're rubbish! :D

I think i went on one of Unimatrix Xero's tracks and it was pretty good. Some random bits that made slowed it down but overall pretty good.

I might have to go on it tonight and see what they're like. Playing Trackmania might help my GTA IV headaches :p

There aren't any cheats. Either get better or play the tracks in Hot Seat, where they're all available from the beginning.

This is an old thread, but there are some news about the game.

A new patch has been released updating TrackMania Nations Forever to version 2.11.14. Addressing issues from the previous patches for Nadeo's arcade racing games is the order of the day. It's mostly here to fix issues in the previous fix:

* now works with windows 2000 .

* the delay on the start line in time attack.

* a few more crash fixed.

I have the retail version of Trackmania United Forever and never had an email about my account and i haven't been on it lately.

Perhaps they're de-activating accounts for people who only have the Nations Forever.
