Fraid it's not anything to do with my pc. As this is the only app and game i've ever used/played that thinks it makes sense to completely disregard button presses for seconds at a time. xp33 Posted April 30, 2008 Share Posted April 30, 2008 Hm. While i may have said the game itself is decent, the controls certainly aren't. The complete and total loss of acceleration, half the time randomly, is rather ridiculous. Are you using a gamepad or keyboard ? I've had a similar problem using a 360 gamepad, I had accelerate and brake mapped on both trigger buttons as well as the digital buttons above each, while using the right trigger to accelerate if I catch the button above I will lose acceleration. I might have to go on it tonight and see what they're like. A new patch has been released updating TrackMania Nations Forever to version 2.11.14. Addressing issues from the previous patches for Nadeo's arcade racing games is the order of the day. I have the retail version of Trackmania United Forever and never had an email about my account and i haven't been on it lately. Perhaps they're de-activating accounts for people who only have the Nations Forever.
