Real World Issues makes a comeback

I am glad RWI is back, but "The Hum's Real World News"...

How about this way?

Real World News:

>Real World Issues

>The Daily Hum

>Area 51 (It's a Conspiracy!)

>Science Discussion & News

Why would I want to make "The Hum's Real World News" a sub forum as well? Before all the changes, it was already a parent forum.. those forums are news related and need to stay as such in that category. On topic and Off topic separated.

Plus "The Daily Hum" is too confusing for new lurkers & members.

As much as Hum posts interesting news I like the fact we can now have RWI in a separate section.

A section should not be named after a member.

At least not a memberr who floods most sections of neowin with copy paste jobs.

I must agree ... mixing odd News and more serious debatable issues was very confusing.

I was sure it would not last.

And much thanks for the honor of 'The Hum's Real News'. ;)

Huh? So the top forum name makes sense to new users? "The Hum's Real World News" ? I guess I am not following your logic...if one can not figure out what The Daily Hum is all about and it made no sense why was it ever approved in the first place.

I dunno Fresh, I guess I am appealing to common sense and hoping that any new member looks around first before s/he posts, I am happy with the name of that forum it is unique to Neowin and short of dumbing everything down so a 5 year old can understand it I'm going to opt to leave as is.

The forum index and structure has already been made a lot easier to browse with categories (names) finally living up to their proper sections, granted all the OT forum categories aren't bunched together but there is a reason for that, General Discussion was much more popular at the top (where it is now) but I don't think it's a good idea to move all the tech forums to the bottom either, so it's a trade off between sections.

Plus the fact that forum titles are now on 2 lines, not 3 which makes browsing the index a lot quicker!
