That's what I use to combine STOP/RELOAD button (using Stylish btw) :)

Thanks, That is one less extension I need. (Y)

If you're using that CSS code which was given to you, you will have to make sure your 'Stop' button is placed before your 'Reload' button. That was the instructions on the page of the userstyle and I have this installed into Stylish, using the default theme and it works perfectly.

i tried using the stop-reload extension, just had to fix the install.rdf file, but it works fine in FF3 rc1 however with that IE theme the buttons dont line up correctly.

If you are using the IE userstyle posted earlier in this thread, you may need to swap the 'Stop' and 'Reload' buttons around to get it looking better. I don't know for sure, as I am not using the style - I only tried it out for a second - but, try placing them buttons in front of each other, installing the userstyle each time to see if the buttons look any better.

If they don't, you could always use the code posted earlier to combine the 'Stop' and 'Reload' buttons when using this IE userstyle ;)

ah that makes sense... that was a trick... but it works now. tho, you will need to play with the css to get it right

Too bad the transparency does not work in Mac OS X. :(

Wait until Firefox 4, it should be fixed then (It's the same reason why there isn't glass in Firefox 3, Gecko can't draw XUL + Web content on a transparent surface, it can only draw XUL content)

This way (setting the background to black) is a hacky workaround due to the way GDI works.

I want to say, THANK YOU for this great addon.

anyone able to work out a theme in stylish/fftheme that makes this look better, since there is people out there using Windows Vista themes that uses a modified stream to make one have the lovely longhorn buttons...

This one look kind of good.

what I was meaning if there is any chance/hope for a stylish addon or a nomal theme that brings the longhon back/forward buttons of longhorn..to not make it look weird as on the snip i took from my FF3..look at the transparancy and stuff around the back/forward buttons..looks weird due to due modded stream of the aero to make it look longhornish in normal vista.

see what im getting at?

Yes, This one may work. I can't test it due to my hacked theme.

Is there a way to extend the glass onto the Bookmarks Toolbar? I would love to have that.
I have been looking all over for a script on that. So far without any luck. It would be great.

you could always move the bookmarks bar to the top two rows, maybe hide the menu bar and move the location bar's row to the top, and move the bookmarks toolbar to the second row. Or just put the bookmarks on top of the location bar, beside the menu bar.

although i've done it, and it doesn't look nearly as good, because there's no blurred white background behind the text.

Thanks but I don't use the Navigation bar, I only have the menu bar and the BM bar. I have about 37 icons on it and I would not have room on the menu bar.

Well I can make the background on it to be none but it just becomes a dark black. Is there an image I need to use to make it glass like?

Edit: So I figured out a temporary fix for now. I put mine next to the menu bar (file, edit, etc.) and it works but I would like to eventually have the bar transparent.

You need to de code the image that is used in Glaser, and then just replace it in the status bar. I can't figure it out.

Well from what I can gather, the code is basically painting the areas that are transparent black and then DWM wrappping them. If there was a way to also paint the bookmarks toolbar black and then DWM wrap it too, it would work. However, that is something the author can do, not me :(

    • LOL, expect to take you seriously? The $7k myth? Ignoring the BILLIONS Qatar spends every year to influence American politicians and universities? Claim terrorists are "journalists" when they are members of Hamas and even have Hamas funerals with their pictures in Hamas garb. "Snipe kids" when they don't, meanwhile the other side sends kids into battle (and their mothers praise their martyrdom) and uses them as human shields and their schools as rocket launch sites and entrances to their tunnels - which they took all their foreign aid to build at the expense of their people. Base their operations at hospitals - violating every rule of war and making said hospital legitimate military targets? AND THEY KILL LGBTQ+ PEOPLE - listen to their own testimonies themselves, their interviews on what they do to them! They're proud of it! Your talking points are all BS and you know it. Stop defending another Islamic dictatorship that uses terror as their primary policy.
    • BetterMediaInfo 1.0.0 by Razvan Serea BetterMediaInfo is a modern, open-source graphical user interface for MediaInfo, designed to improve metadata inspection workflows for audio and video files. It extracts and presents technical parameters such as codec profiles, bitrates, resolution, frame rate, stream ordering, and container-level attributes in a structured, readable layout. The interface is built with clarity and responsiveness in mind, supporting drag-and-drop functionality. It preserves the full feature set of the MediaInfo library while making the data easier to parse for users working in media management, encoding validation, or post-production environments. In short, BetterMediaInfo takes the power of MediaInfo and makes it much easier to use. Whether you're checking video quality, verifying audio settings, or just curious about a file's details, it gives you clear, organized info without the clutter. Requires Microsoft Edge WebView2, which is included in most Windows versions. BetterMediaInfo 1.0.0 changelog: Added an Image stream table to the card view and detail view, including type, color space, resolution, and size fields. • We wrote about it here https://www.neowin.net/news/browser-vendors-pen-open-letter-to-microsoft-saying-enough-is-enough/ the open letter itself is here https://browserchoicealliance.org/open-letter/
    • Someone forgot to mention EDR in the title ? I think I will not click anymore on the articles written by this author. All are click bait.
    • Browser vendors including Chrome, Firefox, Brave, and Vivaldi have jointly written an open letter to Microsoft saying enough is enough regarding Edge being pushed on Windows users without consent. Microsoft makes it difficult to change the default browser, promotes Edge throughout Windows 11, and has made the uninstall process unnecessarily complicated compared to other apps. Does anyone have more details on what exactly the open letter demands and whether any regulatory action is being considered? Also curious whether this could lead to antitrust investigations similar to what happened with Internet Explorer back in the day. Would love to hear from anyone following this closely.
