James123
I'd go with the XPS M1530 over the Studio 15, especially since you mentioned lightweight in your first post - the Studio 15 is over 1 ? times as thick as the XPS in places. tsupersonic
XPS over Studio. BUT when it comes to business, there is NO better than Thinkpad. IBM and Lenovo really set the bar with business laptops You won't get good battery life from XPS. phantomAI
I have both the Apple MBP (personal) and the Lenovo Thinkpad T61p (work): At the time when I bought the T61p it was priced closely to the MBP. Both are great laptops and are very similarly speced. While I enjoy using the MBP more, but for me there are somethings I like about the T61p: ruggedness, higher screen resolution, and having a docking station. Lenovo often has online coupon codes too. Whatever you end up getting, make sure you factor in warranty for the laptop. But if you're thinking of Dells, I think there's suppose to be a Dell Latitude E-Series that will be out in the coming months. Its build quality is far superior to the Dell.
