Is Adobe going to standardize the other controls as well? They have their own controls and then the native ones mixed in.

That's not UI Froze yet, but I think the control design are based on what can be made in Flash, not replicating what is made in OS X. I'll have to have more of a read.

Content-aware scaling—Build 410

Available under the Edit menu (Edit→Content-Aware Scaling), Content-Aware Scaling, also known as Seam Carving,

is a new method for scaling images in Stonehenge.

Content-Aware Scaling allows users to interactively resize and reshape images without changing the general content

and makeup of the image. Modifications are made to the image by removing the area(s) that contain the seams with

the lowest energy. Interacting with the tool is quite similar to using Free Transform, though the results can be quite

different.

You can either upscale or downscale images using Content-Aware Scaling.

Content-Aware Scaling works on layers and selections. It works with RGB, CMYK, Lab, and Grayscale color modes

as well as all bit depths. It does NOT work on adjustment layers, layer masks, or individual channels. It does NOT

work on Smart Objects, 3D layers, or Video layers.

In addition to Width and Height, there are a few other controls available.

•Adapt—Allows you to combine Content-Aware Scaling and Free Transform (interpolation) for best results.

•Skin tone Protection—Attempts to keep skin tones from being removed/distorted when using Content-Aware Scaling on an image.

•Protect Menu—Allows you to choose an existing alpha channel to protect or mask a region of the image when using Content-Aware Scaling.

Build 465 Released

Please note that we are slowly but surely moving to the end game. This means that the present build (465) could be the last prerelease build drop. Beyond this we will be switching to the production activation and ramping down the program and also shutting the forum access. We will separately communicate on the plan soon.

    • My son is in Monaco right now, and I was checking his location in Apple's Find My app. I noticed that Prince Albert's Palace was blurred out on the satellite imagery in both Find My and Apple Maps. I checked Google Maps, and the palace wasn't blurred there. Does Apple have some kind of process where property owners can request that their homes be blurred on Apple Maps?
    • No, it was THAT ugly and I’d rather forget it completely existed.
    • There is a lot of reasons not to use Edge but faster fixes and security updates is not one of them.
    • Can't reproduce. I installed Edge, went to neowin.net > accepted the cookie consent > used menu to go to forums, everything loads and I can browse around the forums. If you can't interact with the dialog on the forums for some reason, go to the main site and accept the cookie consent there? It is true that the site will not function properly until the cookie consent is accepted or rejected,. it's a legal requirement and I also know that certain VPN/ad blockers block it, which is a user related issue and not a neowin.net problem.   This is not our cookie consent dialog. Gotta love browser hijacking... /s Edit: this may be what Californians see, I will confirm with our consent provider.
