Sports Back Pack for Canon 450D

Recommended Posts

I have a Lowepro CompuTrekker Plus AW and it's very good. I LOVE the tripod support. I have yet to have any lenses shift around or anything and there's a nice size compartment for a laptop (up to 17 inch they say). Very comfy shoulder straps and very nice back padding, and yes, it's got a waistbelt.

I will suggest a different pack: Kata Sensitivity V - I use it and I love it.

It fits my Nikon D80 + 18-135mm + 105mm in the bottom compartment leaving the top one available for another camera. Has a place for a small laptop and it has a small footprint (which is great). Also it's not a slingshot type of a bag, which may hurt your shoulder after a few hours.

I have a few issues with that backpack though.

1) no separation for anything really. Stick some things in a compartment together, they will hit each-other as you move

2) what's with the way the compartments open up? it's very impractical

3) no full covering for the laptop, meaning rain/dirt/etc. can freely get to it

I wouldn't recommend it, personally.

crumpler backpacks are one of the most comfortable bags to carry on ur back.

their keystone is a pretty nice roomy backpack...expensive though...and really no more comfortable than a lowepro, which is cheaper...

Some of their other bags (not backpacks) are very nice, but get uncomfotable due to their style (single strap over the shoulder style)

I think you're talking about different pack - as this one has 3 compartments in the lower part for 2 lenses and the camera (vertically, secured with velcro).

The top compartment has a pocket for memory cards, pens and additional part with zipper which you can put spare batteries and other things (like another camera).

The picture on the website is wrong as the laptop compartment has its own zipper which goes all the way around it and protects the laptop quite well.

I have the pack and can take a picture of it if you want.

And what do you mean by the "opens up" ? I don't understand it ..
