It was a great game. It seemed like Federer was getting tired, and the darkness made it very hard to see the ball. Very difficult conditions, so both players deserve immense respect for producing such an amazing game.

Well done to Nadal - he's wanted it for a long time. Federer has proven to those that wrote him off early that he's still got it in him to take the game down to the wire. It was a very even game.

+1 It probably should have been over sooner every time he got into a bit of trouble Federer kept producing the big serves again and again. Around 25 aces.

Find myself really feeling proud of Nadal. Classic match and some good words afterwards from both of them.

Anyway im off to bed till mid afternoon :p. 6:30am local time. Luckily i've got nothing to do today. :D

Federer has a bigger and better challenge than some stupid record now - beat Nadal next year. :) I always think more of sportsmen who win in a tight fight, than those who just run away with it so easily. The first shows triumph over the competition, the other shows the lack of a proper adversary.

Best Final @ Wimbledon ever, an awesome display of power and skill, a joy to watch. Well done the new leader of the pack - NADAL - !!

Federer, as good as he is, simply could not find anything to beat someone who was determined as he was on that day, but the 'new guard' is now here. Sampras made way for Federer, now Federer for Nadal.

A good year for the Spanish, Tennis and Euro 2008......awesome!!

Well done.

Not to say Nadal winning wasn't great and all, because it was. But I wouldn't call him the leader of the pack quite yet. Federer should still be ranked #1 even after losing (at least, I'm pretty sure) because of his incredible record so far this year. Now we'll see what happens at the US Open :)

Quite simple it was one of the best tennis matches ever! Comparable to the epics between Borg and McEnroe. Nobody deserved to lose yesterday. The way Federer came back after being 2 sets down was unbelievable. And Nadal's stamina, his running around the baseline to retrieve and hit winners was something else altogether.

I agree there, Nadal is not even close to his clay and grass qualities on hard court, in fact I don't remember him even reaching a final at either the US Open or Australian Open.

Federer is still best on grass and hard court, he has many qualities that Nadal will never match because they very diffrent players.

The only one right now who has the diverse range of qualities like Federer is Djokovic but he just doesnt have the iron will and mental strength to match Nadal or Federer.

I'm glad Rafa won. It's time for a new champion.

Yup, agreed. Federer really ****es me off now. Can't stand the guy. So glad Raffa beat him and took the title. Well deserved. Plus he looks better in a pair of shorts and a sleeveless LOL. :p

It was a great match, good to see Federer come back into it. I think if it wasn't for the 1st rain interruption, Nadal might have won it in straight set. The way it turned out made for a much better match. Nadal deserved to win it though, he was better on the day. If he could improve his service game to match Federer's he'd be a much more fearsome opponent.

i must say that i was really crushed seeing the guy i cheered and supported for about 4 years now gets beaten on his court, the grass court, just when he was about to break a Wimbledon record. federer played his worst tennis this year, still he has been one of the best men to ever hold a tennis racket. federer chances in the the hard court season are slim because it will probably be the djokovic season, and that's it. i must say that we could be witnessing the end of roger federer's reign probably after the end of this year.

Roger Federer = tennis history

    • Microsoft resumes forced Copilot app installation on some Windows PCs by Usama Jawad Late last year, Microsoft planned to begin the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot app on certain Windows PCs. However, in March 2026, it disabled this process due to a technical issue and informed customers that it would let them know when it would resume. It seems like that was only a temporary respite, as the Redmond tech giant has started the forced installation of the app on eligible devices. In an update on its Message Center for IT admins, Microsoft has informed customers that it is resuming the automatic installation of the Microsoft 365 Copilot on commercial Windows PCs that have Microsoft 365 apps already installed. What this means is that if you have Microsoft Office apps like Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and more installed on your Windows PC through a Microsoft 365 license, you'll likely see the Microsoft 365 Copilot app pop up in your Installed Apps section soon, too. Fortunately, IT admins do have some control over this rollout. If they choose to opt out, devices in their tenant won't automatically get the dreaded Copilot app. However, phased rollout via feature flags has already begun and is expected to be completed by the end of June: Feature Flag1: started Jun 4, expected to finish June 10 Feature Flag2: expected to start on June 11, expected to finish on June 17 MSGraph schema rollout: expected to start on June 18, expected to finish on June 24 Feature Flag3: expected to start on June 25, expected to complete by July 1st Microsoft hasn't detailed what the process is to toggle the feature flags in its Message Center, and its public support page does not seem to mention it yet either. The Redmond tech giant has encouraged IT admins to let users know beforehand so they aren't caught by surprise to see a new app seemingly installed without manual interaction or their consent. Users who already have the app installed or are based in the European Economic Area (EEA) are unaffected by this move, which Microsoft has understandably flagged as a "major change".
