Just as well I didn't stay up last night then, would have been for nothing in the end lol.

I fell asleep sometime between 3 and 4am, I was doing fine but then I just had nothing to do while waiting for you guys and fell asleep.

On the other hand, I dreamt we all played Doom 4 :laugh: Except it wasn't over XBL, it was in real life. It was pretty damn freaky :p

@ John, I've had a copy of Die Hard 4 for agesss now, but still to watch it. Is it any good? And no, I'm with UK Online.

Ok I can't find my spare mic right now. I know it's inside the box which came with my Vision camera. I just don't know where I put that.. :/ Hopefully noone threw it out thinking it was empty!

Anyways if my mic doesn't work I still have the chatpad& mic, I just prefer not to use it.

But those trophy awards are getting on my ######, I'm constantly getting "X Efficiency Trophy" or Demolition Trophies from all the C4 Tank kills. So I have that stupid western tune playing all the time.

Unfortunately, I wont be on today. It's a possibility for later, but it depends on how much I get done. I'd love to jump on right now, but it's a beautiful 77 degrees outside, (which is probably a heat wave to you guys :p ) and NO humidity. I'm finally going to cut my grass and get the yard cleaned up. I also have over 30GB's of video I have to edit and re-encode for a couple people. so I have to get that done too. If I don't do it now, it'll never get done and they'll never see it ;)

Sorry about that, I muted my Microphone to cool down for a second after that random C4 Teamkill, when I unmuted none of you answered me. So I just kept playing, said I had to go eat but guessed you didn't hear me.

My headset is still acting up :/ But C4's are extremely effective, that's for damn sure (Y) You found my joy in the Specialist + UMP combo :p ?

And yeah going specialist was much better today. I think both of us working together to take out the crates was pretty awesome (Y) Still think the gun is pretty under-powered though, you need to aim at their heads most of the time to stand a chance. Body shots use way too many bullets to take them out

Hmmm, I found the specialist class the fastest class to take out the enemies. Actually the main reason why I love it, I can even kill 2-3 people in a row due to the high ROF and damage.

But I was stunned how effective a bunch of C4's are against crates, the enemy doesn't even get a warning - So that's definitely a tactic to keep.

They are warned, but instead of "Gold crate 1/2 armed!", all they hear is "Gold crate 1/2 under attack". Which can be anything from grenades to just shooting at it, so a lot of people don't pay attention until they hear it's planted.

That is why I love the M16 though, it has a low rate of fire but a high damage, so you can take out a lot more people per clip.

Yeah, but you only get the "Under attack" message when we detonate the C4, not when planting them? By then it's already too late.

I did really love the M16, but the UMP has pretty much the same damage but a much higher ROF - So in those CQB situations I have the upper hand in 9/10 cases.

But it's all a matter of taste, preference and play-style :) If we can round up some familiar faces, I might be up for playing later - Not all these random faces I have no idea who is :ninja:

Never thought playing first person shooters would actually be worth anything in real life til about an hour ago.

As I was putting my lawnmower away, I got stung by a Wasp. I grabbed a can of Raid Wasp killer and went to the shed to find them and get me some payback. Well, turns out the nest was above the door inside the shed. I walked in, heard a buzz by my left ear, spun around, looked up, found the nest, and emptied half the can into it. Got my payback... :p

Seems FPS'es like BF have given me a quick trigger finger. :laugh:

So it looks like I may be on Live sooner than I thought. I've now officially had enough of outside today.

If anyone is around, and wants to get some rounds in, I should be on in about 30-45 mins.

Hey guys...been a few days since I was in a squad with any of you. I've been playing with randoms a few games today and yesterday, and discovered my love affair with destroying crates with a rocket launcher. My score has actually been higher than ever. And it seems as if it's harder to be a defender now than an attacker...which was the opposite for me a few weeks ago.

I really want to learn how to be good at specialist. Seems like a hard class to master though. Any pointers?

Always keep moving, always take the path around the enemy so you'll get up behind 'em.

Face enemies in close quarters situations, the Specialist weapons were designed for CQB. So whenever you see someone further away than 8-10 yards, hide behind buildings and try to flank instead.

Unlock the UMP and the C4, both crucial tools to the specialist. It only takes 1 C4 to blow up an enemy tank, so it's also a highly effective armour buster class.

May not be the best of pointers, but just takes a bit of luck, practice and getting to know the weapon. The specialists greatest weakness is the lack of self-healing. So flanking is always important.

Two specialists working together on the attacking team is a mean gold crate killing team!

question---does your C4 still stay in place even after you die?
