I guess I'm one of the lucky ones then! I've not had a single crash since Multi-core Rendering was added

I had some random crashes on the update the day after the multi-core update (the one that "fixed" the decal crash bug)....oddly enough this was resolvable for me at least by simple turning multiplayer decals from 0 to 200.

Other than that, I was getting the changelevel crash on some servers with custom maps, oddly enough I never have the crash on servers running official maps. Luckily, that crash should be fixed now though.

I get a Crash notification every time I close the game which is kind of annoying but doesn't really damage the functionality or anything.

Some bugs that I do find very frustrating though is when you minimize the game and then maximize it again some characters will be completely invisible. Not all characters just a handful or less. This is one of the biggest and yet hardest bugs to notice because how can you tell if you're not seeing someone you're supposed to be able to see? - At first I thought it was players exploiting some kind of Texture bug but as I spoke to other gamers in different servers it seems quite a lot of people were seeing the same thing and it I was told it was caused by minimizing the game (Which it was).

Apart from this bug sometimes I will launch the game and join a server and I may not like that server so I move to another server and during that switch I may get corrupted Textures on some parts of the new Map on decals and water. The water one is the most frustrating it turns it in to a sort of solid object which you cant see through, but at the same time if your inside the water you can see through the map. Very weird bug, restarting the game fixes that. (This doesn't happen often)

And finally problems which are not really bugs but Server owners being complete <Insert Expletive Here>

• Faking user count on Server to get people to join only to find 0 players

• Using Bots with real-looking Names and 'Event Scripts' Mod with Fake-Ping scripts to make Players appear real

• Having a main Server that is 30-32 users with 1 slot free, when you join it redirects you to a Server with 0-3 Players on it! (FRAGMASTERS GRRR)

• Servers that have 'Premium' options where if you pay $$ per Month you get Extra Health, Extra Ammo, Extra Metal, Radars which show you the distance of other players, Faster Respawning or Respawn instantly. Basically Sactioned Cheating which give some players who are willing to Pay a huge advantage over everyone else.

• Servers which restrict an entire class from being chosen. Such as 'No Scout' 'No Spy'.

• Servers with Reserved Slots that are at 29-30 users with 1 or 2 slots Free and deny you from Joining whilst your Connecting!

Basically I know Server operators are and should be allowed to run there own servers however they want. HOWEVER there should be an option where you can right click a server and select 'Don't Show in Server List' so these plainly terrible servers can be placed on a Game Tab on there own once you play on them so you don't have to keep getting on them over and over again.

I know that Valve are working on a system to stop the propagation of what they call Bad servers from reaching Customers through the Server Browser but I cannot see this curbing a lot of what I describe above. We as users need some more control over the filtering options I should be able to select Servers that I don't want show up in my Browser.

That system has been live since that post went up, all they did was is make the masterserver not return listings of "bad" servers when you query it.

I'm getting a distinct feeling that Jarate might be real at this point. :p

It's been a couple of weeks since we posted, so we thought it'd be good to do some housekeeping. The next class pack will focus on the Sniper. It's actually shaping up to be the largest TF2 update yet, with multiple new maps and a bunch of gameplay tweaks. In addition, we've got another update in the works that should be done before the Sniper, and that one will include some new content for all classes.

The XBox 360 update is still being worked on. If you're wondering what's taking so long, since the content is "done" on the PC already, it's mostly been around fitting it all onto the XBox. The original version of TF2 in the Orange Box was very close to the XBox's memory limit, and all the additional TF2 content we've produced has pushed well beyond it. We've found a couple of nifty ways to get back a bunch of that memory, but it's turned out to be a lot of work, and that's what most of our time is being spent on. In the meantime, we're going to get a code update out to address the server cheating that's going on.

Like many other folks online, the TF2 team has been loving the Top 10 TF2 Plays of the Week videos that Push Gaming has been doing. If you haven't seen them yet, you can catch week 1, and week 2. We're hoping for a third one soon, but we can't really complain. If we were doing them ourselves, you'd probably see the third one sometime next year. While waiting though, you can check out the exploits of some of the Sniper's countrymen in the second frag video of Aussie clan Mad Dogz.

Would be funny if Jarate = Left 4 Dead boomer bile. Same effect

Pee stings your vision, blurring it for a few seconds.

That is what the Sandman should have done from the start....blurry vision and what not. Make it difficult to fight back, but not completely stop people from fighting back.

    • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
