 .

I think we're getting a massive update, both spy and sniper.

I agree, it will be kind of funny though to see the servers full of spies and snipers hunting achievements :p

On another note though, anyone think that second watch is a bit OP? Stand still for indefinite AND recharging cloak? You could edge your way into the enemy base without ever having to uncloak.....you could cloak to get away from an enemy and not have to worry about your cloak running out as long as they aren't heading in your direction.

I have a feeling the spy is only getting one of those watches....why would he get two unlocks for the same item when one of them is so powerful it is identical to the normal cloak watch, but it ONLY drains when your moving?

Maybe it drains twice as fast as the current one?

Meh, who knows......the way valve just played everyone its hard to tell. o.O

EDIT: Also, the update release was delayed by 2 days, long enough to reveal 2 more spy unlocks along with the rest of the package (last sniper unlock, 2 spy unlocks and a meet the team video or something for the final day).....which only goes to support the dual-class update theory even more.

EDIT2: Even more evidence of a dual-update:

The next class pack will focus on the Sniper. It's actually shaping up to be the largest TF2 update yet, with multiple new maps and a bunch of gameplay tweaks.
Updating 2 classes at once would definitely be quite a large update.

EDIT3: Then again, the second watch says its the "Cloak and Dagger" watch, which means maybe you lose the loss of your revolver AND sapper when you use it.....making you better at backstabbing and getting around unseen but making it impossible to deal with engies, anyone backed into a corner and anyone chasing you down.

    • I totally disagree. Very little good comes out of governments all around the world manipulating everything they can and usually the people are not the benefactors. What you say about being restricted and expensive sounds almost like the arguments against firearms and why banning them will protect people as if making something illegal somehow will prevent the criminals from having and using them. AI being far less mainstream could simply mean the average person will not benefit, but "big brother" and the corporations will benefit, which is almost for sure NOT a good thing.

    • "connect with audiences" is the most obvious corporate speak you can think of. I only bought Need for Speed from EA because it was the only racing game with cops in existence and I dig that. Now that they killed off NFS franchise, I have nothing to spend money on. EA is officially dead for me, just like Ubisoft which I've been boycotting for some 20 years now...
