They come out on the 21st. I can't wait for the ambassador, the revolver's inaccuracy always annoyed me.

Hope so. It's going to be annoying when both the updates come out. I don't know whether to play sniper, which is a class I enjoy, or play pyro to annoy the spies who will all be gunning for me if I snipe :p

Pyros may render the dead ringer spy watch useless. After puffing the uncloaked spy, all she (:p) has to do is run around flaming everything around the "corpse" to uncover the fleeing spy.

Which is why I'm gonna enjoy this update. Well, I dig the new Payload Race more than anything.

Are you kidding me? It's as accurate as the sniper, even at long range. That's much better than the revolver.

Perhaps it is. But honestly, if i want to play sniper i'll uh... well... play sniper. As picking things off from a mile away is his job after all, not the spy's. This weapon, to me, just seems like they're trying to make the spy a class it's not.

It's an unlockable. And that's a bad way of looking at it. You get a weapon that you can use on the enemy at a distance, all the while cloaking or disguising yourself as the enemy. I think it's going to change the way people play Spies (well, not too much).

Spy + New Revolver + Sapped Engie thing + Cloaked/disguisedness + range + POW! = one dead engie.

At least, thats the way I look at from an engineer's stand point and a guy whose trying to learn how to play the spy.

I knew it! I knew they were going to use the Jarate as an unlockable. Anyway, I was hoping Valve would offer something better to replace the sniper rifle. The Huntsman seems cool and all, but I don't think it's worth replacing my sniper rifle. So far we've seen the Huntsman, the Razorback, and Jarate for the Sniper. We've also seen the "Dead Ringer" watch, the "Cloak and Dagger" watch, and the Ambassador for the Spy. The Spy's unlockables are cool but the Sniper could use a better replacement for the sniper rifle. I guess I'll end up using the Sniper unlockables, minus the Huntsman. I prefer to kill my enemies with bullets, not arrows. :p
