I unboxed 2 pyro's boots I'm willing to trade one for another hat, if you're interested. http://tf2b.com/?id=giantpotato

I'd like to take one, but it seems like you have all my hats :p My stuff: http://tf2b.com/?id=rm20010

Well, there's my vintage Pyro's Beanie hat that you don't seem to have. How about that hat?

Oh and I just got another Summer Cooler drop. Anyone want that before it disintegrates sometime tonight or tomorrow? I'm done with Steam spending for today.

Wow, your reading comprehension is absolutely terrible.

Fact is: The Festive (Winter) key wasn't the Stocking key, it was released a fair period of time after the Festives items (Dec 11 vs 23), and I didn't say that the Stocking key couldn't open Festive crates.

Wow, your attempt at trying to lie is absolutely terrible.

You said, and I quote, "the free key was a 'Stocking stuffer key' which unlocked normal crates." You previously specifically stated that the festive key was only for the winter crates. If you had thought the stocking stuffer key could have opened both, you would have said as much. Your attempt to lie through omission is rather pathetic.

You were wrong, it's really that simple. Stop being a jerk to another user simply because you're upset he called you out on being wrong, even if he was slightly wrong himself. Everyone's wrong now and again, so man up and accept it.

Yeah, I can do that. I just added you to my friends list in steam.

Yes, and?

Festive key isn't the Stocking key, there is nothing incorrect in the assertion that the festive key was only for the winter crates. I've not stated anything incorrectly.

Try actually reading next time, it helps. ;)

Yes, and you were wrong in your assertion that the stocking key only opened regular crates. I never stated you were wrong in that the festive key isn't the stocking key. I clearly alluded to that by stating the other user was also slightly wrong. So, you were both wrong on different aspects.

In sum: You're wrong. Deal with it and stop blaming your own ignorance on other people. No one needs reading comprehension classes, but you clearly need to learn not to be a jerk to people when you're clearly wrong.

Direct quote (for the third time) to prove you're wrong:

There weren't the first time around, the winter keys only unlocked winter crates; the free key was a "Stocking stuffer key" which unlocked normal crates; and was introduced some time afterwards.

It did not unlock only normal crates. It unlocked normal and winter crates. You were even responding to someone who said Valve gave a key that allowed the opening of special crates. So your attempt at lying through omission is, again, pathetic. Good try though, bud. (N) Don't bother responding, we already know you're wrong; you don't need to try and clarify your error with rudeness anymore.

When did I ever say "only"? Oh wait I didn't.

Ooohhh snap son!

Maybe you should take my advice next time and read what I said.

Maybe you should take your own advice and take a reading comprehension class, because you're lying through omission. I clearly said that if you had meant that it could also open winter keys that you would have said that.

OH SNAP, SON! HOW YOU LIKE THEM APPLES? FEEL GOOD GETTING TOLD? CAUSE YOU JUST GOT TOLD, SON! LIKE THIS NICE TALKING DOWN, ANNOYING RHETORIC I'M USING? HOPE SO, CAUSE YOU'RE STILL WRONG! YEAH BABY! WRONG, WRONG, WRONG!

"Lying through omission"

Hahahahaha.

You're a bit special aren't you. Continue grasping at straws, that's all you seem to be able to do.

Never heard the term before? You must be new to the planet earth. I guess I am quite "special" if by "special" you mean "knows common sense information." You said exactly what you meant to say. If you had meant to add a clarifying statement, you would have.

Shhhh, it's OK, don't cry. I won't keep telling people you were wrong. Except, that, ya know... you were. (Oh snap, son!)

And back on topic...

If anyone wants vintage items, I'm willing to trade mine. I have far too many to type them all, but if you have one specifically that you want, let me know. I also still have the Christmas tree hat for trade. I also have the tricorner hat and stove top hat for the Demoman that I'd trade if someone had a hat that I wanted. No other hats that I'm really willing to part with, though. Also: three name tags and two buckets of paint (dark purple, and the light purple/pinkish color). Dueling game I'd be willing to trade, too.

Sure champ, you keep telling yourself that.

You sure got me, missing out a word which wasn't even relevant to the point I was making. Such a heinous crime.

I've seen better from SPUF posters.

I also heard that it's a "real fact" that if you delete all your items before opening a crate you're guaranteed to get an unusual!!!1

You were wrong, it's really that simple. I can give you a printout of the item schema if you don't believe me.

Dude you are getting called out by not just me but a few others as well... I can read a wiki just as good as the next person but you missed that.

Now..moving on, again.

Does anyone have any idea of the values of the summer items such as the Rogue spy suit jumping in value after today? The coolers expire.. so you can't get them anymore after that. But I'm also curious as to the coolers expiring and going into a regular #22 crate with something else in them but with a higher percentage on the unusual find like the #6's did. Anyone have any theories on this?

Does anyone have a Rogue's Col Roule?

I'm looking for a friend, she has a (or an) Tam O'Shanter, Stately Steel Toe, and Copper's Top for trade. Anyone who has one and would be willing to trade would be awesome.

I've got one...maybe two in a few when I open a few more coolers but I plan on holding on to them for a few days to see if the values jump or not.

So let me get this right:

Ayepecks now counts as a "few others". (Does he have MPD or soeemthing?)

You can't even see the distinction between the Winter and Stocking keys despite them being right next to eachother on the wiki.

You contradicted yourself by saying "Moving on again" after bringing the topic back up.

Edit: Oh, and you also seem to think that special crates transmuted into normal crates of the same series, when they actually were just all deleted. (Which again is mentioned on the Wiki)

Get the stick out of your rear. You were wrong about something and now you're trying to pick apart his statements simply because he corrected you (and was himself wrong about a few things). He wasn't even rude about it, yet for some reason you've got all butthurt and are taking it like someone just insulted your manhood. Seriously, get over it and drop it.

I have to take Athernar's side with this. Before he posted people were confusing the Stocking stuffer key with the Festive key. All he pointed out was that they were separate keys. He did not post anything wrong, he said the stocking stuffer key could open normal crates, which it can. He didn't say it could only open normal crates. For all you know the argument about a missing word could go both ways, he could have wanted to say the key also opens normal crates. Now, lets end this nonsense and get back to the business that is Trade Fortress 2.

Someone gets it! Woohoo! Props to you giantpotato. Agreed on the last point too.

I'm in need of a can of Team Spirit for testing purposes; and would rather now spend any money on actually buying one. Again, I can offer other paints, raw metal, items or a combination of the prior.

Take a gander and shoot me an offer if you've got a can: http://tf2b.com/athernar

Interested in helping my friend out with her request? I'll get the items from her when she logs on.. What do you want for it out of the items she has?

Why do you need Team Spirit for testing? The TF2 wiki shows the colors of all paintable items.

Why do you need Team Spirit for testing? The TF2 wiki shows the colors of all paintable items.

The way Team Spirit paint works changed in the Uber update, resulting in the current bug that causes hats painted with TS prior to the update to show up as red on blu players.

I run the TF2B backpack site so I want to grab a can so I can keep an eye on it (Without having to watch other people's backpacks), as I've reported the issue causing the bug to Valve.

I can explain the specifics if you wish.

The wiki never said anything about the coolers getting deleted until they were and it was updated almost instantly but good job on trying to make it look as if something was missed when I was already on it. As for contradicting myself..it's a internet forum, at some point you bring up the subject once again but yes I did indeed move on as I'm doing so still.

But Value really screwed up just deleting the coolers and not turning them at least into scraps or something useful I know people that stocked piled them things up!!

    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know The ONLY thing I need to know is the price, which I know will be way higher than I (and most people) are willing to pay for a phone... so basically nothing here I need to know. PS: Nice job getting that Apple reference to a non-existent and unrevealed product as "competition" in there. Cheque is in the mail.
    • Well I really think the repasting helped if your higher clocks have returned, maybe the next thing to look at is if there is a problem with your case airflow? I guess this because your 3080 has returned to optimal state, but is still staying too warm, which might suggest it was thermal throttling before you repasted, of which the only logical conclusion could be outside factors.
    • Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 8, Flip 8, Z Fold Wide: Everything you need to know by Hamid Ganji Galaxy Z Fold 7 - Image via Samsung The next generation of Samsung foldables is set to be unveiled next month at the second Unpacked event of the year. Samsung’s 2026 foldables are not expected to offer significant upgrades over their predecessors, with the Korean firm instead focusing on design refinements and conventional upgrades such as faster processors and better cameras. However, Samsung is reportedly planning to unveil an all-new passport-style foldable this year to rival Apple’s first foldable iPhone, which is expected to debut this September. Here’s a roundup of everything we know about Samsung’s upcoming foldable devices ahead of their official debut. When can we expect Samsung’s new foldables? The Galaxy Z Fold 7 and Z Flip 7 series were unveiled in July, and Samsung is expected to maintain this timeframe in 2026. Based on previous reports from Korean sources, Samsung will hold its Unpacked event on July 22 in London, UK, to pull back the curtain on the Galaxy Z Fold 8 series. The devices are also expected to hit the shelves a few weeks after launch. However, Samsung has yet to announce an official date. A new naming scheme? One of the most interesting changes we might see this year is a new naming scheme for Samsung’s latest foldables. SamMobile reported that since Samsung is expected to unveil three foldables this year, it has adopted a new naming strategy to simplify product identification for customers. Accordingly, the standard Galaxy Z Fold 8 will reportedly be called the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and will serve as the direct successor to last year’s Galaxy Z Fold 7. The “Ultra” suffix suggests the phone could feature higher-end specifications, such as additional rear camera modules. Samsung’s new passport-style foldable is expected to carry the Galaxy Z Fold 8 name without any suffix. This model is reportedly equipped with two rear cameras. No major changes are expected for the Flip model. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 anticipated specs Rumors over the past few months suggest Samsung is preparing several upgrades for its upcoming foldables, although the devices may continue to rely on larger batteries and faster charging speeds rather than dramatic design changes. The primary focus this year is expected to be the Galaxy Z Fold 8 and its wide-screen design. Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here are the anticipated specifications for the Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra based on previous leaks: 6.5-inch outer display and 8-inch inner display, 120Hz refresh rate, and 2,600 nits peak brightness Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, paired with 12GB or 16GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of storage 4.1mm thickness when unfolded and a weight of 210g 200MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, 10MP or 12MP telephoto camera, 10MP cover camera, and 10MP selfie camera 5,000mAh battery with 45W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 As for the Galaxy Z Flip 8, the device is not expected to be a major departure from its predecessor, although it could become slightly slimmer. Expected specifications include: Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 or Exynos 2600 processor 12GB of RAM with 256GB and 512GB storage options 6.9-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X inner dispaly and 4.1-inch Super AMOLED outer dispaly 50MP main camera, 12MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera 4,300mAh battery with 25W wired charging Android 17 and One UI 9 Samsung’s foldables are also expected to launch with Gemini Intelligence, Google’s AI suite for automating tasks in Android ecosystem. Moreover, given current memory and component costs, some Galaxy Z Fold 8 Ultra and Z Flip 8 variants could see a price hike. Galaxy Z Fold 8 adopts a wide-screen design The centerpiece of the upcoming Unpacked event could be the Galaxy Z Fold 8, previously rumored as the Galaxy Z Fold Wide. This model adopts a passport-style form factor and is expected to compete directly with Apple’s iPhone Fold. Galaxy Z Fold 8 official CAD renders - Image via AndroidHeadlines Here’s what to expect: 7.6-inch primary OLED display and 5.4-inch cover display, 120Hz refresh rate, 2,600 nits peak brightness, and 4:3 aspect ratio Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor, 12GB or 16GB of RAM, and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB storage options 4,800mAh battery with 45W wired charging 50MP main camera, 50MP ultrawide camera, and 10MP selfie camera Android 17 and One UI 9 The three new foldable phones are unlikely to be the only devices unveiled at Samsung’s Unpacked event. The company is also expected to introduce the Galaxy Watch Ultra 2 and the Galaxy Watch 9 series.
