Fact is: The Festive (Winter) key wasn't the Stocking key, it was released a fair period of time after the Festives items (Dec 11 vs 23), and I didn't say that the Stocking key couldn't open Festive crates.

If you had thought the stocking stuffer key could have opened both, you would have said as much. Your attempt to lie through omission is rather pathetic.

You were wrong, it's really that simple. Stop being a jerk to another user simply because you're upset he called you out on being wrong, even if he was slightly wrong himself. Everyone's wrong now and again, so man up and accept it.

Yes, and you were wrong in your assertion that the stocking key only opened regular crates. I never stated you were wrong in that the festive key isn't the stocking key. I clearly alluded to that by stating the other user was also slightly wrong. So, you were both wrong on different aspects.

In sum: You're wrong. Deal with it and stop blaming your own ignorance on other people. No one needs reading comprehension classes, but you clearly need to learn not to be a jerk to people when you're clearly wrong.

Direct quote (for the third time) to prove you're wrong:

It did not unlock only normal crates. It unlocked normal and winter crates. You were even responding to someone who said Valve gave a key that allowed the opening of special crates. So your attempt at lying through omission is, again, pathetic. Good try though, bud. Never heard the term before? You must be new to the planet earth. I guess I am quite "special" if by "special" you mean "knows common sense information." :rofl: You said exactly what you meant to say. If you had meant to add a clarifying statement, you would have.

If anyone wants vintage items, I'm willing to trade mine. I have far too many to type them all, but if you have one specifically that you want, let me know. I also still have the Christmas tree hat for trade. I also have the tricorner hat and stove top hat for the Demoman that I'd trade if someone had a hat that I wanted. No other hats that I'm really willing to part with, though. Also: three name tags and two buckets of paint (dark purple, and the light purple/pinkish color). Dueling game I'd be willing to trade, too.

Now..moving on, again.

Does anyone have any idea of the values of the summer items such as the Rogue spy suit jumping in value after today? The coolers expire.. so you can't get them anymore after that. But I'm also curious as to the coolers expiring and going into a regular #22 crate with something else in them but with a higher percentage on the unusual find like the #6's did. Anyone have any theories on this?

Does anyone have a Rogue's Col Roule?

I'm looking for a friend, she has a (or an) Tam O'Shanter, Stately Steel Toe, and Copper's Top for trade. :happy: Anyone who has one and would be willing to trade would be awesome.

I've got one...maybe two in a few when I open a few more coolers but I plan on holding on to them for a few days to see if the values jump or not.

You can't even see the distinction between the Winter and Stocking keys despite them being right next to eachother on the wiki.

You contradicted yourself by saying "Moving on again" after bringing the topic back up.

Edit: Oh, and you also seem to think that special crates transmuted into normal crates of the same series, when they actually were just all deleted. (Which again is mentioned on the Wiki)

Why do you need Team Spirit for testing? The TF2 wiki shows the colors of all paintable items.

The way Team Spirit paint works changed in the Uber update, resulting in the current bug that causes hats painted with TS prior to the update to show up as red on blu players.

I run the TF2B backpack site so I want to grab a can so I can keep an eye on it (Without having to watch other people's backpacks), as I've reported the issue causing the bug to Valve.

I can explain the specifics if you wish.

The wiki never said anything about the coolers getting deleted until they were and it was updated almost instantly but good job on trying to make it look as if something was missed when I was already on it. As for contradicting myself..it's a internet forum, at some point you bring up the subject once again but yes I did indeed move on as I'm doing so still.

But Value really screwed up just deleting the coolers and not turning them at least into scraps or something useful I know people that stocked piled them things up!!
