Only watched the first video and apart from the weapon model, graphics were very average IMO. On the ladder, the arms had blurry textures, and everything else was... short of ground breaking. Oh, and the characters were skiing all over the place, lag?

From what I have seen so far, campaign pre-alpha footage looked better than this. I'd pick up my jaw if I were you Audio and wait for the campaign next Jan/Feb to let it drop :p.

How about you watch the rest of the videos first :p First doesn't show off as much as the rest.

And of course campaign footage looks better, this is multiplayer footage.

If it's invite only then it's not open is it?

Yes it is.

You could sign up for access.

Closed beta = No way for public people to get in. Sony were inviting previous Sony beta testers.

Open beta = Any public person can get in, but you had to sign up and/or download the KZ2 theme off of PSN. Limited access.

It wasn't open like everyone can get in. Just like the NXE invite, that was an open beta, but it was limited.

I applied, but didn't get in :(

Come on Audio, your definition of "Open" looks like something from a Chinese encyclopedia.

The NXE preview program was just that, a preview for a select few. It was open to apply to, nothing more.

Just like the Killzone MP beta, you're free to apply, but that doesn't mean you'll get in, because it's not open.

Fine let's call it a public beta if it makes you happy, but you know what I mean so lets not argue any more over spilled milk.

It's about your double standard, would you say that Home is currently out as an Open beta? I don't think so.

I never meant Killzone was open to everyone from the start.

I meant it was open to the public.

Let's stop arguing, I've clarified what I meant.

So complaining about blurry arm textures, when you only ever see them on a ladder. Also Lag, lag can happen in any online game, regardless, if someone has a bad connection its gonna happen and no matter how good net code is, its gonna be bad.

I for one think it looks great, and having fun in a game is not based on graphics alone.

I would happily pay to play this beta.

Guerilla, hear my pleas and charge my ass, I do not care.

Qore Episode 7 featuring KZ2 beta invite

*random crowds* OMGZ SONY MAKE YOU PAY FOR TEH BETAZ!111 *random crowds*

Dude, I just described the video. Complain to Guerrilla if you want, not me :p

Today, in my friends car...umm..the window was steaming up...so I wrote (back-to-front) 1337 Inside.

I was proud of myself (Y)

    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Anno 117, Final Fantasy VII, Rematch, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic Games Store's mystery giveaways may have ended, but its regular freebies didn't miss a step this week. The double drop was for copies of Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks and The Ouroboros King. Speed Freeks lands for multiplayer racing fans, but with plenty of competitive shooting elements too. You will be piloting Ork buggies, tanks, and aircraft modeled after the popular tabletop miniatures while trying to complete objectives and pass finish lines. Next, Ouroboros King is a crossover between chess and tactical roguelikes, offering the chance to create your own army with special rules to beat incoming foes on the board. The double giveaway on the Epic Games Store will be available until June 11, and replacing it will be Citizen Sleeper and ROBOBEAT. The Humble Store brought a new charity bundle to check out this week too. Landing with the name The Complete Inkle Library, this is a large collection of interactive narrative puzzle games from the publisher Inkle. This begins with Heaven's Vault, four parts from the Sorcery series, 80 Days, Overboard, and Pendragon: Narrative Tactics within the starting tier for $9. Hopping up a step to the $12 tier gets you TR-49, Expelled, and A Highland Song for paying at least $12. If you go for the $20 tier, you get four e-books from the Heaven's Vault series. The bundle has almost three weeks on its counter before it goes away. • When will the Photos app be updated to remember the window size and position when reopened? They addressed this issue in a 2024 version of the app (though I can't recall the build number). Unfortunately, after that specific version, the problem persists! Please prioritise this fix in your K2 schedule. Additionally, the Snipping Tool has lost the ability to capture the Windows Taskbar starting from the 2024 version!
    • Same, never saw it on Android or iOS. Guess only some people got it *shrugs*
