Killzone 2

The gun you get off the guy on the roof, STA-14? decapitates on headshots :woot:

Sweet! I really need to try that! :D

I managed to get the guy down from the room alive this morning. He dived away from my grenade and landed on the catwalk below.

i'm assuming the other guy is the one on the roof inside the building (after the lift)?

@houlty. Yeah that's the one. He drops a rifle when you kill him. If you knock him off with it you can use it.

All you people saying its slow paced, are you using the sprint button? :/ I really don't get why you think its so slow, infact, the sprint seems faster than any recent FPS I've played lol.

Hell, you can even reload while sprinting, I honestly can't remember the last game that lets you do that!

I sprint all the time. Still I think it's quite a slow paced game compared to what I usually play (TF2 on PC) and what I have played a lot in the past (COD... and even CS when you go way further back)

edit; ty robpears - hopefully they deliver to the Netherlands... Was looking for a good deal on a new headset :)

Just one question: Why is everyone praising the graphics? Looks good, but nothing groundbreaking :/ Anyway, this was just a sample of the game... I was hoping to see the weather effects on this demo (storm and wind), guess I'll have to wait for the 27th.

Sound and animation was top notch though, and the overall character movement/weapon animation was indeed very sweet.

I honestly think it's the best looking console game. I have played Crysis on my PC, which is better-looking that KZ2. Other than that I can't think of anything.

BIG BIG BIG NOTE: I DO NOT HAVE A 360, I CANNOT COMPARE THAT WELL AND I DON'T BASE MY OPINION ON COMPRESSED FOOTAGE ON THE INTERNET.

I agree, there is so much nice detail and then you start to notice all these rough patches and then you realise everything immediately infront of you looks awesome (which tbh is what they should do), but there is flaws everywhere else.

The lighting, animations and attention to detail are the best I've seen though, no doubt about that (Y)

It's one of the single best looking console games to date, it deserves the praise.

I'm not even debating that, it may very well be the best atm. The thing I don't understand is that all these early reviews and people talked about how good they were and were like out of this world.

I was hoping to get a good reaction, but after I booted it my jaw just stood still. Fortunately, this game isn't all about graphics.

The only one thing that now annoys me, is the height of the person you play, or at least the perspective you play from.

Now I dont know if this is what FPS are about, but if I walk up to someone, I am looking at their chest not their head, it was the same for Resistance 2, although at first I was not aware until I read some people saying so.

Now I would have to go back and play other FPS games, to see how they were, but anyone else think it is a little to low?

There is a sprint button? LOL Of course I was using the Sprint, and using it liberally.

What I mean by slow paced is the actual gunplay. For example I put the sensitivity to the max, and it still moves slow.

Another example I mean is you get to an area, you find cover, take some guys out, find some more cover, take some more guys out. I tried rushing on the part with the APC's, and was taken out in seconds.

While what may be happening as far as the action around you is fast paced, the shooting aspect to me is slow paced. And I happen to like slow paced, just have not played it in awhile as most FPS's these days tend to be fast paced.

Heh, I dunno then. Honestly it feels faster than a lot of games to me. Maybe its just this demo and when I finally play SP it will force me to take my time more. I think I'm definitely playing a lot different than you guys are though.

I found the controls very refined - almost natural feel for me, but then again I played KILLZONE1 (when new) so perhaps that helps - lol

Problem for me, was no translated PORTUGUESE dialogue - hope it's just in this demo - SCEE games are great to play in different languages... like Uncharted, Heavenly Sword, Rachet & Clank, etc.

All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
