Bless those guys at Thanko?they've been wondering what else to apply fan-cooling tech to, and have come up with this keyboard that cools something you never thought needed it: your wrists. The gizmo has three fans built into the wrist-rest area of a standard USB keyboard, ready to puff sweet air at your sweaty wrists at the flick of a switch. Bizarre. And if you want one, you'd better have really hot, sweaty arms indeed 'cause this thing takes up two USB ports. It looks pretty sturdy, mind you, and is out in Japan for about $62. [FarEastGizmos]

I guess this solves the problem of having sweaty palms during certain activities...

Wouldn't that be annoying if you use the keyboard for hours?

Of course, there are moments when you might benefit from this, when your hands are sweaty for anonymous reasons, hmm gimme a mouse fan too :shiftyninja:

Now if you could choose the heat coming out, cold/warm/hot/etc, I could see it being useful on freezing days in the middle of winter or boiling summer days.

A self-cleaning keyboard would be nice too...

Hell yea!

Would be better if there were a breeze flowing inbetween the keys, to cool... you know... the HANDS.

My wrists are not sweaty.

And while the area would be our hands, it could also do a good job of keeping things falling between the keys, crumbs, dirt, pieces of ham. :p

" ready to puff sweet air at your sweaty wrists"

If you have a problem with sweat on your wrists while using a freaking computer here's a better idea - hit the gym once in awhile.

The self-cleaning keyboard, there's an idea that would sell :)
