Cormier6083
I don't care for it. I searched for a person and I got way off results. Hopefully it gets better.
Sethos
I don't like the way search results are presented :/

+jamesyfx Subscriber² Posted July 28, 2008 Subscriber² Share Posted July 28, 2008 Nothing appears in the search results in Safari on certain searches. But I do like it. I'd use it if it were faster and worked properly. :p
Lare2
I don't care for it. I searched for a person and I got way off results. Hopefully it gets better. Personally I'll give it some time since this is pretty new stuff. I still remember when Google was at that stage and Altavista was king of the hill. I had a similar impression of Google on its beginning days. :D
+John Teacake MVC Posted July 28, 2008 MVC Share Posted July 28, 2008 Wow I like it. I love how the way they present the results
Beastage
Pointless , they should have joined Microsoft, google is dominating not with their qualities but with their power now.
Cormier6083
Pointless , they should have joined Microsoft, google is dominating not with their qualities but with their power now. And the fact that it's pretty much standard wherever you go.
Borbus
I think it's a bit broken at the moment... Search for "neowin": http://www.cuil.com/search?q=neowin What's with the pictures? Three completely unrelated pictures that do not appear on the web pages they link to.
what
They need a one column search result page. I hate both the two column and three column views...
+Majesticmerc MVC Posted July 28, 2008 MVC Share Posted July 28, 2008 Tried a comparison search for "HTML Doctypes" on both search engines. Google's Top 5: - HTML Validation: Choosing a DOCTYPE (htmlhelp.com) - HTML DOCTYPE TAG (W3Schools.com) - Recommended list of DTDs (W3.org) - Choosing a DOCTYPE (Elizabethcastro.com - HTML5 DOCTYPE (ejohn.org) Cuil's Top 5: - "Transitional Doctypes are Stupid" - A page from a web page design quiz - Why the style tag should exist in a page with the STRICT doctype - List of Doctypes (maxdesign.com.au) - Some tech support about some woman with a problem rendering web pages The fact that not a single W3 webpage appears in the search results demonstrates to me that the search algorithm needs a hell of a lot of work! In fact, if I were looking for a list of HTML doctypes, The top result from Google would suffice, but the only even remotely relevant link in cuil's results is the fourth one. Very disappointing. XerXis
horrible search results, messy way of presenting them no thanks
Digitalx
seems ok but no need to try fix something that isn't broken, google ftw.
Shadow Dragon
I like Google's minimalistic design, this seems a bit cluttered. The result were actually pretty good though.
MrKuro
i like the frontpage, but hate the cluttered results page .. plus the results arent as relevent or specific.
Fourjays Veteran Posted July 28, 2008 Veteran Share Posted July 28, 2008 Don't like the result presentation, as others have said. Front page nice though. I also found it's results to be pretty poor. Typed in the titles of several sites and none of them were even present in the results! Google always gets them as the first result. Even the ones that have existed no more than a week or two, amazingly.
th3rEsa
IMO anything is better than the AdSense-powered Google crap, providing paid search results and such crap... Cuil, however, should provide an option to display more than 10 results per page, I would happily use it then...
Lare2
:shifty: I Found Neobond's dirty secret with it Click If You Dare Only Just searched for Neobon and right there in the page  PS Should I Put a NSFW tag on the link ......lol
CoolCatBad
Crap search engine, but so are most of them, including Google.
Luis.A
I actually like the results page. The interface is clean and organized. I can see me using it more and more. Opposite to google, Cuil actually takes the pain away from searching, it's a little more FUN i guess.
tiagosilva29
I like Google's minimalistic design, this seems a bit cluttered. It reminds me a bit of the recent iSomethings... Google actually retrieves stuff on hummus, while Cuil doesn't.
