What were they busy doing from November, 2002 to January 30, 2007?

Well, for starters, they released Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, Windows XP x64 Edition, Windows XP Media Center Edition, Windows XP SP1 and SP2, Microsoft Xbox 360, Windows Mobile 6, Windows Server 2003, Microsoft Office 2003 Service Pack 2 and Microsoft Office 2007. They also released many new hardware peripherals, and even had time to ship numerous updates to their software products, like Internet Explorer 7, Windows Media Player 11, Windows Media Center Update Rollup 2 and firmware updates for Xbox 360.

Microsoft has been very busy this decade.

i still think a free domain would be a nice extra. well, their office live was giving out free domains at one time but they stopped at a certain point. those people who did get them had to work with a WYSIWYG editor anyway but still... free .com domain! they must bring that back and give it to those who bought the ultimate extra!

They better have ultimate extras for Windows 7, especially since 7 can be customized a lot more easily. And I want to get Texas Hold'em on Windows 7.

I would some more features for Windows 7 Ultimate. Microsoft's skins and VSes are really nice and if they made more I'd be wet happy. ;)
