Lost - Season 5

Does it strike odd to anyone Ben actually knows a lot of people off the island?

Why is that odd? We already knew that Ben, and any of the others, would leave the island at will. We've seen Alpert off the island several times (including when he went to see Locke, when Locke was younger).

Sorry, can comsone just update me - what broadcasting numbers?

Update you? It was like ... S2. Sam heard the numbers being broadcast on a radio transmission in the Pacific. He told them to Leonard, who only repeated the numbers while he was in Santa Rosa. Hurley used the numbers for the lottery.

No idea there :s

More Info About Smokey this Season

Hey All,

I know we already have spoilers that reveal we will see Smokey again this season and I believe even some of the promos hint at the return of the Smoke Monster.

However, every time we see the monster we are still left wondering if we will ever find out what it is!? Ever!?

Well Jorge Garcia recently had an interview with our friends Cabin Boy and SBK over at Real Radio 104.1 in Florida. When he was asked if we will ever find out what the smoke monster is!? Garcia revealed that in the current script he is reading that we will "get more info"!!

He did confirm recently working on Episode 5x11 so expect this information about Smokey to appear in around Episode 5x12.

Everything except Rappy.

So who has theories on why Juliet moves with the survivors but the rest of The Others don't?

Dunno weird that, maybe because she's not a true other? i.e island born.

Something for the lolz Heroes meets Lost :p

Nice info btw Peewee (welcome back to subland as well ;) )

That video was fantastic. WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAALT!

Yup! Thanks Rappy! :D

The people from 815 that were with The Others (besides Locke) seem to have stayed put, though. Very strange. I doubt it will get explained.

Were there really any survivors, besides Locke, that was with the Others? Before Locke joined them, he was in the Orchid station with Ben with no one else, so I'm not so sure there were other survives that decided to assimilate with the Others as Locke was going to.

The people that they took. The kids. That flight attendant ... uhh Cindy I think was her name. There were others that were never named.

Ah, right. I didn't think of those people. Probably something that won't be covered, though it would be interesting to know that they also thrown off in time.

    • Well I've done a grand total of nothing, and it now clocks between 2010mhz and 1995mhz (stock is 1710mhz) and hovers around 80c, warmer than it used to, but tolerable clocks seem to have returned. Thanks for all the advice on this thread. Will review the evidence and make a choice.

    • I really wonder if this has to do with the built in VPN or "private DNS" of browsers that trip up legal requirements like cookie consent and Cloudflare (to avoid all the botnet attacks we get). And BTW some botnets still manage to get past Cloudflare, we are constantly having to tweak it to block malicious traffic that ultimately cause a DDoS.
