walking in circles, but this is how this show is...

Somehow Juliete reminds me Trinity but blonde.

btw, all the women that Jack want or try to be with, Sawyer actually did it. Not very far from the reality, where a guy tries everything to get a woman and the other without any effort actually do that woman. How frustrated (jack) might fell...

Well he was with Kate for a while and they were planning to get married.

I've been thinking for a while now that the show is never going to have a "real" explanation... At the end of the 6th (and final) series, we will probably even more questions that we do now.

There is a general assumption that Lost is going to have an incredibly detailed, complex and ingenious solution, but if you look at other works of JJ Abrams, such as Cloverfield, you see that actually, Abrams isn't the genius he is portrayed to be -- he just has a lot of wacky ideas and puts them all together, and doesn't ever explain things or come up with a clever solution.

Wasn't it a few weeks ago that Abrams admitted that stuff such as the numbers wouldn't even be explained but were part of the "mythology" of the show?

Why do you even watch this show? All you do is mock it  The show isn't about walking in circles. I don't get where you're coming from at all.

I'm listening to the official LOST podcast for this week, and it turns out they did in fact screw up on Charlotte's birth date.

Back in Season 4, actress playing Charlotte didn't want to portray someone in their early 30's, so she apparently on set just used 1979 for age 25 and the writers didn't catch that. So, Charlotte's real birth date is 1970/1971.

meh.

Yeah, Rose and Bernard are somewhere at the moment...

Reckon Ben is giving Sayid a sandwich because this is after Richard has approached Ben in the jungle and they're on "terms" so he is being nice to Sayid because he thinks Sayid a hostage?

Good ep :) am i right in saying smokey was messing around in dharmaville when sun was there ?

Christian controls smokey... or smokey is "Projecting" Christian ?

or Christian is smokey :p

The more time Rose and Bernard are off the screen the better :p

Well we know they're not appearing in all episodes up to episode 11 at the moment, according to the press releases, they have to be Adam and Eve, the time skips screwed them up..

Did the monster appear in that episode as well?

I'm not sure of when exactly Ben meets with Richard, but that might have been a while ago and Ben may know that Sayid isn't a hostile, and is just digging for information.

* They are skeletons laid to rest in the caves discovered by Jack in the episode "White Rabbit". They have not been seen since.

* The bodies themselves were not discovered until the episode "House of the Rising Sun", when Jack returned to the caves to collect water.

* Jack says in House of the Rising Sun that the bodies must have been dead 40?50 years based on the deterioration of their clothing, however in Deus Ex Machina John Locke says that normal clothing would decompose within 2 years. He also noted that the high quality polyester on the Nigerian smuggler would take 2?10 years to get to its current condition.

* They were carrying one black and one white stone. Jack took these stones and neglected to mention them when Locke asked what had been discovered. See also: Black and white.

* The religious nickname is taken from Adam and Eve of the Bible.

Some interesting facts about Adam/Eve

when the door opens, i can see somekind of smoke getting in or getting out

Yeah, that does look like the smoke monster, its weird how Frank or Sun don't turn around....

    • It depends, but it's also going to push more adoption of open source AI models that can run locally, I'm seeing a pattern among the US and China when it comes to closed and open source AI models, they close when they feel they have the advantage, open up when they feel they don't. This has little to do with security and everything to do with control, the irony is that the ones that do go open and get the community behind them are the ones that have the real control, hence why we keep seeing this seesaw from closed to open. Ultimately, it's far too dangerous to let any one country or corporation to control AI, which is why open source AI or AI you can run locally on your hardware is very likely going to be the future of AI over the long run, this is especially the case as AI becomes more powerful and useful for user, privacy, security and censorship will become more of an issue for users and businesses.
    • A person should only be required to click through to an article if they want to know more details. The headline should give basic facts. A basic fact would include the name of the service being shut down.
    • That would probably be a good outcome, but it would also require other "features" be changed to comply, such as Auto play, scrolling, and advertising. Having the laws shift these platforms back to a socially responsible and useful places is a benefit for everyone. The addictive nature is the problem, and while many blame the individual, psychologists would suggest the platform is using a well trodden playbook to hook in more revenue..
    • It is in fact being discontinued in the US in July.
    • It was a rather nice rant as I rather dislike when people support the shitifcation of the Internet. My comment also factually applied the definition of "clickbait' to this headline unlike your comment. I have been reading this site for some 20 years now so I will call them out when they are doing carp they shouldn't be doing but thanks for your concern. You can't even do a search by headline anymore to do a quick search to find something because most of the titles lack all the relevant keywords that should be there.
