There's alot of coverage of the American candidates(mostly Obama) here in the UK.

It seems most of the UK and Europeans who are interested in world affairs, want Obama to win.

I myself hope Obama gets in, as he does seem the most sensible, plus he reminds me of the president from 24

Who do you want?

Poll results so far says Obama in a landslide. Not that surprising. I know we seem to get a good amount more Obama coverage. Aside from the recent McCain not knowing how many houses he owns bit that got some coverage.

Was that report on McCain clarified that he owns none of them? I'm sure they didn't, and I'm sure they didn't explore how Obama got his home.

I can't remember if they mentioned how many he truly owns but they actually did go into some detail as to his ties to Rezko and it's funding. It does on a whole seem to be a pro-obama media here. I take any mainstream media coverage of it all with a grain of salt.

Neither really, something that annoys me amount American politics is the huge amount of money wasted on advertising and campaigns that could have been put back into the country. (Yes I know this also happens in the UK, but to a lesser extent and you wont get adverts trying to bring down another candidate - the media does that fine.) So what I really want to see is someone actually try to get the presidency without going the route which requires a huge waste of money - which of course is never going to happen.

Well, I stand corrected on Obama's home (Y)

(and McCain doesn't own any of them if you didn't know)

Really? ads that do nothing but take cheap shots at the opposition are easily the majority come election time here.

    • You said "not great" but mentioned 2 positive experiences...
    • Finally some article that flips the script on the rage baiting, click baiting and hate mongering by Neowin in recent years. It works for you as a website, but it's completely wrong when considering real usage. Yes, it works just fine if you install it on unsupported machines with Rufus or Ventoy, no downsides.
    • 0 chance of that happening, forget it. Get it installed by some tech guy or do it yourself with the bypasses, that's how MS is being lenient and looking the other way to give users a chance.
    • Ooooooh, now we got the big tech corps fighting
