[Official] Crysis Warhead

Crysis Warhead was a little disappointing to me...I loved the graphics and storyline once again on highest settings... :) but they needed it to be a much longer game...it took me less than a week of only playing maybe 1-3 hours a night mostly an hour and a half...to complete it....

How's Crysis Wars? I'm installing it right now. I completely forgot it came with Crysis: Warhead. Actually, it wasn't until I saw a new patch for Crysis Wars that I remembered it.

Wow, Crysis Wars is so much fun. The standard maps are great but the custom ones are even better. I had so much fun playing a kitchen wars map. Anyway, the game runs so much better in 64-bit mode. Unfortunately, I can't connect to any server while running the 64-bit client.

Argh, dunno, maybe its just me, but warhead had an awful LOD/texture detail pop when you move closer to smth. Even playing on highest settings. It looked like rocks were morphing as I move. Had nothing like that in original crysis. Other that that - pretty much mediocre. Same old crysis with some variations and after completing original It just failed to impress me.

I actually just finished Crysis Warhead this past week, was my first time playing any Crysis now that I finally have a PC capable of playing them.

I thought it is one, of if not the best, FPS's in the last few years. Only other game I think might be better is COD4. But it did everything the original Far Cry did to me, which is one of my favorites ever, and expanded on that and made it better with the suit and all of that. And of course what else is there to say about the visuals that have not already been said.

@ John Freeman - I definitely experienced pop in as well, but it was only on the initial load of an area, after a few seconds it seemed to all go away. It does happen a decent amount though as you are always entering pretty large areas, but was not a huge issue for me at all.

    • Regarding the AI photo, I LOVE AI in that regard, you ask it what you want and it gives you a lovey photo in under a minute, that would taken me an hour to make in photoshop and it wouldn't have looked nearly as good. 2 nights ago I spent a couple hours collaborating with AI.  I did not say write me an article. I would write one or 2  paragraphs, then I would ask it to clean it up so it read better but still keeps the information I was trying to convey.  Rinse repeat.
    • for AI content? 😶
