i love it... it's been out for a few days ithink... my favorite thing about hte new version is that in full screen there is a little autohide control menue at the bottom now... it was really my only complain about VLC and now they fixed it.... so am uninstalling every other piece of garbage (media player)...

Sorrry if I am being stupid but all I can see is the 0.9.4 version?? Where is it ......?

Oh wow, I just installed 0.9.4  I think I had an 0.9.2 or something like that installed, so I still upgraded. But yeah, where is the 0.9.5 version?

Hmmm I've been having problems with the new VLCs, sometimes when video is full screen and the controls are in front, the video window will be sort of hidden behind other windows or off the screen... then the player will hide in the system tray.

Also when going Shift-Arrow it sometimes chooses to focus on the buttons instead of seeking like the old one.

Anyone else have annoyances like this?

What's the point there is no Windows version.

VLC is popular amongst Mac OS X users for one. It is available for all major Linux distributions.

Not available for Windows yet does not mean there's no point to reporting the upgrade.
