i love it... it's been out for a few days ithink... my favorite thing about hte new version is that in full screen there is a little autohide control menue at the bottom now... it was really my only complain about VLC and now they fixed it.... so am uninstalling every other piece of garbage (media player)...

Oh wow, I just installed 0.9.4 :laugh: I think I had an 0.9.2 or something like that installed, so I still upgraded. But yeah, where is the 0.9.5 version?

ive had nothing but problems with any of the newer versions on vlc. won't play any videos in my firefox browser at all. id had to go with an older version in the meantime to solve my issues.

Hmmm I've been having problems with the new VLCs, sometimes when video is full screen and the controls are in front, the video window will be sort of hidden behind other windows or off the screen... then the player will hide in the system tray.

Also when going Shift-Arrow it sometimes chooses to focus on the buttons instead of seeking like the old one.

Anyone else have annoyances like this?

VLC is popular amongst Mac OS X users for one. It is available for all major Linux distributions.

Not available for Windows yet does not mean there's no point to reporting the upgrade.

0.9.6 nightly builds are available for all platforms.Funny 0.9.6 one can get for windows but not 0.9.5 :laugh:

Anyway can wait few days for Windows version,after all our macboys don't always get stuff earlier than windows (its usually comming soon for mac..) heh.
