NVIDIA Geforce 180.48 WHQL (BIG BANG II) RELEASED!

Recommended Posts

World in Conflict has greatly improved performance (avg 25 to 33 (both with dx10 and without). Does have some graphics issues from time to time, where buildings turn purple for a while, but that's all.

(Vista x64)

Guru3D are hosting 180.70s if anyone wants to use beta drivers.

Unsure if links to other forums can be made so mods please remove the link if needed, its not hard to search their site for them.

The forums on Guru3D are saying the 70s seem better for gaming, but it seems to depend on the actual rig, so its best to suck it and see, I did'nt notice any difference really :(

Performance did increase in Far Cry 2!

Using a 9800GX2.

Really? mine went backwards :/ it lags up more now and for some bizarre reason it won't let me set the resolution higher then 1680 x 1050 :ermm:* was fine on the old drivers and could set the resolution to my LCD's native (1920 x 1200) and ran reasonable well. That is using a GTX 260. I'm guessing my slow Core 2 is the culprit? (as I believe a Quad core is recommended, I just have a "Conroe" Duo - E6700) However, Race Driver: GRID does seem to run tad faster now, that is maxed out at 1920 x 1200....

* = Nevermind, seems fine now must of been a weird glitch or something that was caused when I updated Far Cry 2. It's fine now :)

I can't wait for TweakForce's "XG treatment" on the newly released .70 beta drivers. I rarely encounter problems, even though they're considered "beta". They never seem to disappoint!
