How did you do that?

Spinning fire + long shutter speed. I believe I took 3 shots of the guy who was spinning the fire. Here's another one:

Here's one I was always really pleased with - taken at a track day a few years ago on a Nikon D70! Original is obviously much larger than this - this is just a crop / resize, but it came out REALLY sharp. Was rather chuffed :)

Yes, tripod and "front row" :D

It was on the beach around 10 or 11 PM so a few to none people were around, just those two guys spinning the fire.
