ಠ_ಠ This is one reason why otaku culture scares me.

What?

The Live action Wangan Midnight Movie too awesome for words but the sound track could use some work.

also i may put my watching of Legend of Galactic Heros on hold seeing as the blu-rays are coming out now.

Latest FMA:B and Durarara!! where great! The plot from Durarara!! is getting really interesting. Looking forward to this week's episode called "Strongest Man Alive" with as it seemed Shizuo Heiwajima and Izaya Orihara as the main characters. That's going to be an awesome episode for sure :D

The next FMA: B is also going to be pretty interesting with Greed fighting against Bradley :o

well im seeing rips of the first 10 eps atm all in 1280x960 and 5.1ch

That would be 1080p source downscaled to 720p.

@Capric0rn - Next FMA: B episode is definitely going to be kick-ass with that fight incoming :D

well better rips will come along in time just some people want to see it as HD as they can then again most of them will be watching it on their 22 to 24" monitors on which true 1080p is just wasted.

Of course but there are some 23/24" LCD's out there with true 1080p, just correcting your definition of native Blu-ray resolution ;)

no i was stating that 1080p movies/TV is wasted on 22/24" monitors

How so?

And THORA should now get their hands on Legend of the Galactic Heroes, they would do an excellent release.

I've got a 1080p LCD monitor which is HD ready. I've watched the 1080p version of "Neon Genesis Evangelion - 1.11 You Are (Not) Alone" on it and it looked awesome :)

@Radish?: The past few episodes of FMA:B where very revealing. Now that Greed is showing his "true-self", there's no doubt that their fight is going to be awesome :D Let's just hope that Greed isn't going to be killed by Bradley because that would mean the end of Lin Yao as well.

^That means you haven't watched CENCOROLL (jumped into my mind the minute I read your post). I'd recommend to watch that anime as well. Prepare to get blown away by a piece of work directed and animated by one and the same guy :)

@Radish?: It was indeed :) Yasuhiro Yoshiura has really won me over with that bit. I'm gonna be watching all current episodes non-stop soon :D Gonna be interesting to see the extra footage from the movie btw.

Man, I've added so many shows to my list lately, thanks for all the suggestions (Y)

I have a hard time finding out where to watch shows these days, is there a great site that I can subscribe to? I've seen Cruchyroll and it looked like a good site but I don't know whether it's the best one.

ps.. 200 pages w00t :p

You're more then welcome and I'm sure we'll have more recommendations. Like for instance: Freedom, Tokyo Magnitude 8.0 and Rideback :)

Also, regarding your question: check your PM ;)

Lin has strong determination in his favour, don't think he'll be dying any time soon (Y)

because it just looks better on a bigger screen say 47" like mine :D

Well duh :p

I LOL'ed at the end as the car was definitely not a Z. Not a fan of the soundtrack myself.

    • Alpine Linux 3.24 released with support for COSMIC Desktop and other improvements by David Uzondu Alpine Linux 3.24 has been released with updated system packages, including Linux kernel 6.18 and Rust 1.96. The team also added IPv6 support to the system installer, and they introduced automatic serial console configuration for headless setups. System76's COSMIC desktop environment is now available in the community repo. System76 originally started building this DE because its developers found GNOME to be pretty limited. Plus, it did not help that with virtually every GNOME update, the changes broke System76's custom desktop extensions. As for system packages, the Alpine team moved GTK+ 3.0 from the main repository to the community repository due to its legacy status. py3-setuptools has been upgraded to version 82.0.0, while the old pkg_resources module has been completely dropped. The team also removed outdated packages that still relied on py3-six and GTK+ 2.0. In addition to that, libsoup 2 has been removed because the library was affected by multiple security vulnerabilities. If you're a GRUB user, the Alpine Team said that you must manually run the grub-install command with your specific device or EFI options right after upgrading your system, otherwise, your computer may fail to boot properly with the newly updated GRUB 2.14 bootloader. New installations of Alpine Linux now offer an optional path to a /usr-merged directory layout if you set the BOOTSTRAP_USR_MERGED environment variable to 1 before you execute the setup-disk command. If you already run an older installation, you can migrate manually by installing the merge-usr package and executing its binary as the root user. The team recommends this layout to align Alpine with modern Linux standards, though you should verify your custom scripts before making the switch. Alpine Linux is a pretty tiny (~5MB) Linux distro built around musl libc, BusyBox, and OpenRC. It's been around since 2005, comes with its own package manager called Alpine Package Keeper (APK), and is widely used in modern cloud computing and software deployment.
