Is that glass or ice?

It's ice that formed in sheets on the lake we have here. Looks like a pane of glass, breaks the same way too. I was bashing holes in the ice and pulling out half meter squares of the stuff, great to play with. Flying ice shards are just as dangerous, but it's pretty hard to cut yourself on an ice edge.

And the squirrels seem to like me, I can get pretty damn close to them now :)

I took these in Switzerland the other day. The birds could be better, but my first attempt at taking bird pictures so I'm quite happy. Haven't done any post processing on them yet.
