4CxbqFxVnstmA Veteran Posted December 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 2, 2008 I can't recall exactly when I subscribed. I heard tales of people who didn't know they had to renew when the end of their year came round. They were in the status of being not a subscriber until they fixed the problem. Is there a system to give subscribers a few weeks or a months warning when they are about to run out? I'd be all for this, if it's not already automatic. Come to think of it, this was one of the reasons I suggested the lifetime subscriber membership! :D
Rappy Veteran Posted December 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 2, 2008 As far as I know the system is you just lose status and then you re-subscribe (if you want to of course!) but I am sure I heard you get a PM maybe that was a dream. Shows the start and end dates right there :) I didn't have that :p I was a sub before the forum cross over which means my sub never told me an end date, it just happened. Eric Veteran Posted December 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 2, 2008 I'm scheduled to expire today. Do I just wait til I turn gray to resubscribe?
shihchiun
Why not just resubscribe now? Edit: Because you can't... nevermind.
FiB3R
What happens to your PM's if your sub runs out?
Eric Veteran Posted December 2, 2008 Veteran Share Posted December 2, 2008 What happens to your PM's if your sub runs out? I would guess they stay. Isn't the PM system available to non-subscribers? (I only subscribed to donate and for the fancy orange name. I wasn't concerned with extras.)
FiB3R
You get twice the amount of space for messages when you subscribe.

Andrew Lyle Global Moderator Posted December 3, 2008 Global Moderator Share Posted December 3, 2008 You need to wait for your subscription to run out before resubscribing. Usually it takes 1 day to a few weeks for your subscription to be removed (for some odd reason). Maybe they have fixed it over the last year
