Songbird 1.0 Release

Recommended Posts

After all this time Windows STILL hasn't got the perfect audio player!

Itunes > Bloat (Too many services)

WinAmp > Feels tacky, doesn't look nice to be honest...

Songbird > Needs Watch Folders and sort the god damn UI out... So slow and strip out Firefox... Oh and now playing would be nice!

Foobar > To plain.

Linux on the other hand has all good ones... Banshee, Rhythmbox..

Maybe I'm just to picky...

I agree all my favorite media players (Banshee, Rhythmbox) are on linux. Although I hear banshee is being ported to windows. Unfortunately linux just doesn't work for me, I am a big gamer and dual booting is really annoying, and I need things like office 07 for school and other programs so that rules out my laptop as well.

I have been pretty satisfied with the newer versions of foobar though, much easier with the live ui customization (the newest columns ui also has this now too)
