My hands were steady

My eyes were clear and bright

My walk had purpose

My steps were quick and light

And I held firmly

To what I felt was right

Like a rock

Like a rock, I was strong as I could be

Like a rock, nothin' ever got to me

Like a rock, I was something to see

Like a rock

And I stood arrow straight

Unencumbered by the weight

Of all these hustlers and their schemes

I stood proud, I stood tall

High above it all

I still believed in my dreams

GO OILERS!!

Well im a red wings and devils fan. I feel bad for the red wings, hopefully they'll be able to pull off a bit upset. As for the devils, theyre doing great. They lead theyre series 3-1. Well go Devils, Go Wings, Oh and Islanders as well! :)

Brenden Morrow is a total Stud!!! Marty Turco Growing up Quickly in his first playoffs

Hatcher is the man and Oilers know it they take cheap shots at him and try to through down with him at every wistle 'cuse they know they don't have a chance.

Another Year Another first round loss for the OIL :woot:  :woot:

Yep. Must be nice having all that American money to buy the good Canadian players. Oilers may loose but the fans here don't care. We're just glad to see a team of inexperienced (oil) young kids go 2-2 so far with a bunch of supposedly experienced sure-wins. (Did you know that in terms of money, Dallas has double the payroll over Edmonton? That's like having 2 teams against one. Oh and you know Laraque would destroy Hatcher  )

My predictions for tonight.. Game winners in bold

Ottawa vs NYI Score : 4-2 (Ottawa will take control of this series tonight)

Anaheim vs Detroit Score : 6-1 (Detroit has taken just about all they can stand, they will blow this one out)

Minnesota vs Colorado Score : 4-3 ( It will be a close call, but Forsberg will shine)

Tampa Bay vs Washington Score : 2-1 (Nobody really cares that much about this series, but the sleeper could come from the winner of this series)

Philadelphia vs Toronto Score : 4-3 (Hard to beat T.O. in T.O.)

Vancouver vs St. Louis Score : 3-1 (Bertuzzi will wake up and shake off the hard checking lines to score)

Just because a team pays more dosn't make them twice as good. Look at the Red Wings! We have one of the lowest paid starting golies in the league were good because we have a good coach and a good TEAM they play well togeather and they work their A$$' OFF.

inexperienced young kids? Smith, Smyth, Laraque, Isbister, Marchant, Salo! Come on you have some young players but a young team? please! Oh and the reason the fans don't care if they loose is because their used to it!

But then Ide be a little bitter too if my team was about to loose in the first round of the playoffs for the 4th time to the SAME TEAM :woot:

    • Let's goooooooo! I've been loving the entries so far! I still have to finish Rebirth (things have been busy!)! Excited for this next installment.
    • "Revelation?" I was hoping for this episode to be called "Reunion". Oh, well... In a related note, the Final Fantasy VII compilation has received an EC entry, short for Ever Crisis. For those who don't know, it already had AC, BC, CC, and DC entries, short for Advent Children, Before Crisis, Crisis Core, and Dirge of Cerberus. I hope it doesn't get an FC entry becaude that would be a freakin' crisis.
    • Uh, after intense testing now, 'Samsung Browser' is not the best one outside of 'Microsoft Edge' after all. Opera Air is that. It has "some" bloat, but it's far less than what both Microsoft Edge and Brave browser have.
    • Weekend PC Game Deals: Resident Evil, Mafia, Like a Dragon, and more by Pulasthi Ariyasinghe Weekend PC Game Deals is where the hottest gaming deals from all over the internet are gathered into one place every week for your consumption. So kick back, relax, and hold on to your wallets. The Epic concluded its mystery giveaways this week with another double freebie promotion. As a part of this, you can now grab Rogue Waters and Songs of Conquest to keep. Songs of Conquest is a turn-based 4X strategy game where you'll be managing a kingdom, making tough decisions, and taking down enemy forces in tactical combat. Meanwhile, Rogue Waters is a roguelike where, as a pirate captain, you command a ship and crew through procedurally generated encounters. The double giveaway is coming to an end on June 11. On the same day, Warhammer 40K Speed Freeks will join in as the next freebie. Another Humble Choice offer was revealed earlier this week, bringing a refreshed eight-game selection to jump into. The June selection is Octopath Traveler 2, The Riftbreaker, Life is Strange: Double Exposure, INDIKA, Citizen Sleeper 2: Starward Vector, Construction Simulator, Hell Clock, and Overlooting to keep as Steam keys. The $15 bundle gives you all eight games from this month's Choice selection. The month-long promotion will come to an end on July 6, giving you ample time to decide on whether you want the titles. The Humble Store also brought in standard gaming collections this week. The IGN Live Bundle kicked things off with games like Control, Shadow Gambit: The Cursed Crew, Blair Witch, Rollerdrome, and The Last Campfire for $10. At the same time, the We Will Always be Here bundle carried in titles like Bad End Theater, Thirsty Suitors, Vampire Therapist, and Tavern Talk for $12. Next, the 2K Sports Champions Bundle comes touting games like NBA 2K26, PGA TOUR 2K25, OlliOlli World Rad Edition, and TopSpin 2K25 with a hefty $25 price tag. Lastly, the Redline Racing Bundle is touting games like Art of Rally, Descenders, Mudrunner, and Assetto Corsa Competizione with a $10 price tag.
