Heroes Volume 4 : Fugitives

def think last night was one of the better episodes this year.. if not the best... I think it sets up for a good storyline the remainder of the volume. I really hope Sylar is there to take out the Hunter(i know he is not going to) but I just don't want him to be there to join that team... why the F is it not on next Monday...?

is the US and the UK on the same season at the same time?

I think UK are currently 3 episodes behind (If watching on BBC2), or 2 if watching on BBC3. But with this break next week, it will be 2 episodes or 1, depends which one you watch.

Thanks, I was getting really confused with all the comments :D Im watching on BBC3 :p

Was sylars father a guest appearance or is he set for a couple of episodes. I would love to see him fleshed out a little more.

According to IMDB (not the greatest source mind you) Glover will be in 2 episodes. But the episode titles and listing seem to be a bit off, so he may only be on one episode, or 2, or more than 2. I don't know lol

Cold Snap Promo (This looks amazing!)

Eric Doyle, the sadistic puppet-master, can control people's bodies and actions with his power. He has spent most of his last two years in captivity in The Company's isolated "Level 5." But on the night of the Primatech fire, he was freed by Noah Bennet. He fought and lost to Sylar. And then escaped in the inferno. We pick him up weeks later ? as he encounters a new adversary!

Certainly the best episode that I have seen this season. Until this point, most of the episodes did not have any climatic endings that would leave you on the edge of your seat wondering what will happen next. Now that most of the random stories are done with, there seems to be a sense of direction forming with Nathan exposed, no one is safe anymore, and Danko probably was reinstated and took charge of the operations. The only person still on the inside is HRG, but who knows how much influence he still has. At best, he can still leak plans and give a heads up when Danko is coming after the others. But, of course, we still have the Rebel for that too (can't wait to find out if it is Micah next episode). Now with Sylar finding the Danko, is this where he will cut a deal to work with Danko, like one of the spoilers suggested, and help hunt down the others in a similar fashion Sylar tagged along with Surresh in season 1?

Just a reminder, no Heroes next Monday. Bummer. Looks like their taking an week off.

It has to be Micah. If you read the previews for the episodes, the next one specifically says they release Tracy so she can lead them to Rebel, with CHILLING consequences. Why release Tracy to track down Rebel, if they don't know already it's Micah (I believe at one point you see a picture of him in Danko's office or something, not sure though) since Tracy is by all intents and purposes Micah's Aunt after all. Plus, with all the computer stuff that happened this week, if it turns out to be someone OTHER than Micah, it'll be lame as hell.

Why didn't HRG push Danko out the window when the Hunter was leaning over staring at Nathan?

You gotta squish the turd whenever you can! :p

Because he's currently playing both sides to make sure everything falls in line with Angela's plan I would assume. He's very loyal to her I think. Even if he doesn't outwardly show it at times.

Plus, I'm pretty sure Mr. Danko has an "ability" as well. Seems kinda odd Angela spoke to him specifically about his platoon getting wiped out or whatever and he was the only survivor when no one expected any. Yeah, set up there.

Well, yeah. I was suspecting it to be Micah too. He is the only other computer-controlling hero that we know is still alive and is capable of this grand scale hacking.

When Danko confonted Nathan at the end, I actually thought he was going to reveal his power. But, instead he pulls out the gun. Something obviously happened in Angola 1997 that caused Danko to gain so much hate against people with powers.

As for this week's graphic novel, it nicely ties in some of the plots of the episode. Looks like Rachel may have a bigger role than originally thought.

Once again writers Joe Pokaski and Aron Coliete joined the fellas at CBR for their weekly Q&A session.

1) As I have been repeating on this site over and over about Twitter, both writers think it is great that fans can interact with the cast and crew of the show.

2) Claire/HRG relationship is supposed to be like any parent/child relationship and it os written hopefully to have Claire learn about life

3) Rebel contact Claire probably because she has the "free-pass" so she has the ability to move around while the other heroes can not

4) We can expect a character with some sort of "earth" related ability and it will be "muddy"

5) Claire and Sylar will come to understanding with one another which stems from them having to deal with living forever.

6) Do not look forward for Peter and Sylar "to make nice-nice" in Fugitives

7) Sylar's memory of his past was a traditional flashback not an via an ability he gained

8) Lyle will not have an ability

9) Volume 5 will be called Redemption

10) We will learn more about Luke in a Graphic Novel

11) There is not going to be any international uproar about Hiro and Mohinder being kidnapped, because they are part of those that are kidnapped and their governments do not know about it.

12) The writers confirmed that they would love to do a 70s flashback at some point

13) The paste that Usutu gave to Matt would not be able to give some one like Claire a precog ability

14) They do not think Matt will be able to get Molly's ability, but they might test the theory at some point

15) Once again confirm the episode titled "1961" will feature some of the original Company members as teenagers

16) The Season Finale (Episode 3x25) will introduce a female baddie and they use the word "pipeline" as a hint

17) Episode 3x21 Into Asylum will feature Sylar at a government facility filled with people with abilities

18) They had no explanation why Danko would stick Matt in the middle of DC with a bomb to prove people with abilities were potential threats

19) Sylar does not kill Luke because he is focused on his past right now and nothing else really matters

20) We will see Nathan's family again and at least one of his kids will have an ability (oh interesting :o )

Episode 3x20 Cold Snap - What to Expect and Beyond

1) Finally you will get the Tracy centric episode that many have been waiting for

2) Bryan Fuller confirmed this episode had a ton of cold water involved and from the promo you can see Tracy with ice formed all around her.

3) We will finally learn who Rebel is

4) According to Kristin we will see the beginning of the "downward spiral" to death

5) David H Lawrence says we should look for romantic scene that will be talked about for awhile

6) We have been getting more and more hints at a possible Five Years Gone Future and the promo for next week reveals Ando using his red energy bolt

7) We will learn more about what Angela has been planning

8) Today we learned that Volume 5 is currently titled Redemption

Some here will probably have a few choice words to say to me, or at least think it, but I figure I'll give some feedback on some of their points.

2) Claire/HRG relationship is supposed to be like any parent/child relationship and it os written hopefully to have Claire learn about life

HA! They've spent four volumes doing essentially the same thing with their relationship, so what else are they going to do to make Claire finally learn about life that she couldn't have learned from all of the other crap she's gone through? Enough of the "she's a teenager" nonsense, she knew she was different from the very start of the show, has done things that no typical teenager goes through, and was great in season one, not so much since.

5) Claire and Sylar will come to understanding with one another which stems from them having to deal with living forever.

Which means they'll never get rid of either character? But what about the one bullet nonsense? As much as I like Sylar and dislike Claire, they have to go at some point. I wish one of them would point out the obvious fact that they can die permanently, just once.

12) The writers confirmed that they would love to do a 70s flashback at some point

They could have, no, should have spent more time doing this with Volume 2.

13) The paste that Usutu gave to Matt would not be able to give some one like Claire a precog ability

I'd like an explanation of this. Why just Matt?

14) They do not think Matt will be able to get Molly's ability, but they might test the theory at some point

Seeing as how I haven't seen the last three episodes, I'm probably missing something, but what is up with Matt now being able to have or theoretically having multiple powers? What nonsense is that?

I wonder who rebel is?

I think its Micah because rebel never actually does anything physically and is able to hack into computers without leaving a trace just like Micah alot of other reasons I think it is him but I dont feel like posting them all

    • Microsoft's Copilot Cowork now generally available with usage-based billing by Pradeep Viswanathan Back in March, Microsoft first revealed Copilot Cowork, a new agentic AI experience in Microsoft 365 Copilot through which users can assign tasks to AI to complete in the background. After testing the service with a limited set of customers in Research Preview for a few weeks, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork to customers in the Frontier program on March 30. Today, Microsoft announced the general availability of Copilot Cowork worldwide for Microsoft 365 Copilot customers. The company also highlighted that Cowork became the fastest-growing feature in the history of its Frontier program. Unlike regular Copilot Chat, Copilot Cowork can run complex, long-running, multi-tool tasks from start to finish in the cloud by using organizational context through Work IQ. When compared to Claude Cowork, Microsoft claims that Copilot Cowork will be 30% to 40% cheaper on average with its Microsoft 365 connector. For now, Copilot Cowork runs on Anthropic models, including Opus 4.8 and Sonnet 4.6. However, Frontier customers can now use GPT-5.5. Microsoft also announced Cowork 1, a secure fine-tuned model coming in the next few weeks, which is designed to handle everyday Copilot tasks at a lower cost. To access Copilot Cowork, a Microsoft 365 Copilot user subscription is required. Usage is billed separately through Copilot Credits, based on model use, context retrieval, tool calls, and runtime. Pay-as-you-go pricing is set at $0.01 per Copilot Credit. To offer IT teams full control over usage costs, Microsoft provides spending limits, usage alerts, user-level controls, reporting, and prepaid usage plans for organizations. Usage-based billing begins today. However, Frontier customers who used Cowork between March 30 and June 16 will not be billed until July 1, 2026. The Microsoft 365 Copilot app now includes a toggle to enter the full Cowork experience. Microsoft is also adding partner plugins, with Enosix, Harvey, LSEG, Miro, monday.com, Moody’s, Morningstar, S&P Global Energy, and TeamsMaestro available now. Adobe, Atlassian, Box, Canva, Databricks, and others are coming soon.

    • KillerPDF 1.5.1 by Razvan Serea KillerPDF is a lightweight, portable PDF editor for Windows built for users who want full control without subscriptions, installers, or telemetry. It runs as a single executable, making it ideal for USB use and field work. You can view PDFs with smooth PDFium rendering, navigate quickly with thumbnails, zoom, and shortcuts, and reorganize pages using drag-and-drop. It supports merging multiple PDFs, splitting documents, and extracting selected pages. KillerPDF also allows inline text editing with font matching to preserve the original layout, plus annotations like text boxes, freehand drawing, highlights, and reusable signatures. You can search full text, copy content easily, and print documents with flattened annotations. Designed as a free and open alternative to bloated PDF tools, it works fully offline on Windows 10/11 x64. No runtimes install. Everything needed is inside the EXE (targets .NET Framework 4.8, which ships with every supported Windows release). KillerPDF key features: High-quality PDF rendering via PDFium Edit PDF text inline (double-click to modify text) Page thumbnails and fast navigation with zoom and shortcuts Merge multiple PDFs into one Split PDFs and extract selected pages Drag-and-drop page reordering Font matching to preserve original document appearance Text boxes for notes Freehand drawing tools Highlight overlays with adjustable color, size, opacity Undo actions and clear per-page annotations Create, draw, and save reusable signatures Click-to-place signatures anywhere Full-text search with highlighted results Drag-select or Ctrl+A to copy text Print with annotations flattened Portable single-file app (~10 MB) No installer, no admin rights required No account, no telemetry KillerPDF 1.5.1 changelog: Performance Save Flattened PDF now uses multiple CPU cores. Page rasterization is parallelized (PNG encoding runs across cores; the PDFium render step stays serialized since the library isn't thread-safe), so large documents flatten significantly faster while the UI stays responsive (#68). Fixed PDFs that failed to open with "Unexpected EOF" now open (#72). The failure was PdfSharpCore's Flate inflater (SharpZipLib) rejecting the FlateDecode cross-reference stream on multi-revision PDFs - files that open fine in browsers, Acrobat, and Foxit. KillerPDF now detects this and re-opens the file losslessly through PDFium, preserving selectable text. Thanks to @javajon for the report and a detailed reproduction. Grid view renders every page. It was capped at the first 26 pages, so longer documents stopped loading partway through. Tiles also stream in progressively now instead of blocking until the whole document is rendered. Grid Ctrl+Scroll no longer reloads every page when the zoom is already at its limit and nothing would change. Removed a stray horizontal scrollbar (a thin green line) that could appear across the bottom of grid view. Files on UNC / network shares (including the WSL \\wsl$ filesystem) are copied locally before opening, avoiding partial-read failures on network filesystems. Changed Minimum zoom lowered from 10% to 5%, so grid view can pack more columns (helpful for wide/landscape pages) and single-page view can zoom out further.
