I wasn't expecting any real drastic changes, just mainly under the hood changes. But thanks for the find!

Yeah, not many visible changes. I just hope some of the UI inconsistencies and bugs (pointed out in the Windows 7 Taskforce by many users) were fixed.

Changes are under the hood, did you really expect a drastic visual overhaul? The OS is pretty much final at this point, the purpose of the beta is to fix bugs and collect sqm data.

Hopefully it's more stable and with plenty of bug fixes. I'm good with the UI :)

It isn't aligned properly with the rest of the text on the Start menu. Also, has anyone noticed that the "All Programs" link is in Arial instead of Segoe UI? I'm wondering if that's a bug with the locale/language settings they are using or if it's something they've decided to change in Windows 7 (if it is, it looks weird).

Actually, that was one of the complaints in Vista. Ordinary people would select the default "Sleep" button (which looked like it would power the system off, but instead went to sleep). IMO, I like how it is now.

you went to change it to power off ?

check power management on the left side there are "choose what the power botton do" from here you can configure it to shutdown instead

I think he is just talking about it being a default setting, I quite agree with what he said.

There isn't anything noticeable because each build is just a stability compile. These aren't official releases to companies, but internal leaks.
