I wasn't expecting any real drastic changes, just mainly under the hood changes. But thanks for the find!

Same here. Make the system response faster, better hardware support and make it more secure will be fine.

I was used to live with Fluxbox on Linux with a very simple theme, and I loved it. So Windows Aero is fine to me.

I can believe that winfuture has it, considering it has screenshots of it's own website running in it. But as for other sites teasing that they have it (like this one) I doubt they have it. Like I said, if it had really leaked it would be all over the place by now. Screenshots of people installing it and so on.

But anyway, it's 4:30am here so nn :p

WinFuture always gets things way before we do. Don't ask me how, I haven't got a clue, but they just get it.

mybe they know about MS server exploit that allow to access the image database or maybe the guy running winFuture working for MS :laugh: some feeds for thoughts

Microsoft doesnt upload images of them running WinFuture stuff with a DE keyboard? Why the hell whould they do that?

Hmm. I do guess the build WinFuture has is the real beta build, as they also have it in German. I don't think they compile a version in the key languages (english, german, chinese, japanese, spanish and french i think) for every build.

you are right. Changing few numbers in photoshop is so easy. That manipulation can be done not only by "people with knowledge" as you said, but by anyone who ever worked with photoshop. Its not hard to finish as a picture to be retoushed. It is easy. I can make you screenshot of Windows build 7485 or 7212 or 7019. Whatever you want.

Anything could be real or fake. People who make fake screenshots just want attention and admiration. Psycho ****s.

In the chinese community, there were a few fakes like the 7014, but apparently this pics were posted by a reputable member, and has been promised to be seeded soon..

The chinese hate fakes as much as we do.. :laugh:

anything is possible.

SS could be true and false.

Im just saying that screenshots can not be trusted until we could download ISO images. That is all. Precausion.

I don't know what Microsoft's doing, but we've seen only 3 builds of Windows 7 the last year or so, and now suddenly there's 7000, 7004 and 7012 (and some sites have a probably faked 7014)... I wonder what's causing this extensive leaking at Microsoft...

First leakes were a regular leaks like with Vista and others. But after it leaked public Windows 7 became popular. So now more and more people want to try to get copy of new builds of Windows 7 from microsoft and leak them out (sort of speak).

Still I think it's strange. Microsoft isn't exactly stuffing away builds on the web, so I'd be surprised if we find more builds if there are just more people looking for it. Leaks always start somewhere internal, and I wonder why it's always the Chinese who have it first...

You think this is extensive? Win 2000, XP and Vista had far more leaks than 7. I suspect that Microsoft has made it harder to be leaked.

      Nice, hope they *finally* fixed the issue with the NTFS driver where the system would completely brick during large file copies using the built in driver. It's been broken for years requiring me to use the older, slower, NTFS-3G FUSE driver.

      Windows 11 KB5094126 BSODing, freezing, forcing BitLocker lockout, breaks OneDrive, and more by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 last week as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. While Microsoft has so far not acknowledged any major problems with the release, some users online are running into problems. These range from OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. The most common one seems to be happening with HP systems wherein affected users say they hit 0xc0430001 BSOD (blue screen of death) error code after the KB5094126 update. We wonder if this could be related to the recent bug we covered on HP devices wherein the ongoing Secure Boot certificate updates are leading to similar issues. While we are not certain, users affected by this issue likely need to ensure that the boot.stl file is included on the installation media (such as a USB installer or ISO), if the above-mentioned dynamic updates are deployed. If this file is missing, computers may fail to boot from the installation media and could display the error 0xc0430001. This STL file is used by Secure Boot to verify that the boot files are trusted, so it must match the same Windows version and system architecture. To ensure the file is included, Microsoft recommends using the Update WinPE script, which automatically updates the image and handles the required files. Alternatively, you can manually copy the boot.stl file from the Windows\Boot\EFI folder on a Windows device and place it in the matching folder on your installation media before deploying the updated image. Aside from blue screening some users also note their systems have been freezing following the update. This could be happening to Lenovo PCs specifically. In the case of the OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, a user figured out that there could be a conflict with UAC. He explained: "Okay, so I did some digging, and in our environment KB5094126 breaks OneDrive and Dropbox in Explorer. I went through all our GPOs and found out that the combination of disabling UAC and having my user being a local admin breaks OneDrive in Explorer. ... If I enable UAC again, then it works, even with KB5094126 still installed." Hopefully, Microsoft will look into these issues.       It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
