BajiRav
I cant put my computer to sleep! After a while computer turn on !!!Please help! :( Same problem here. Feedback sent. Two things to check 1. Wake on Lan should be disabled in your network adapter properties 2. Check event viewer. If your computer is waking up exactly at 3am or 3pm (mine did), there will be a task in task scheduler. Disable it (if safe to do so!). Proculsi
My bugs (Build 7000):2) Start button truncated when taskbar is located on top and using small icons. It only happens when using extended desktop on dual monitor. With single monitor it does not happen. This problem is solved in build 7048 but there's another problem. There's a small space between the orb and the top of the screen. hhernan
I?ve found another bug.4) Different resize cursor when resizing the address bar / search bar.> The cursor depends on the place you click. Quillz
Solved in build 7048. It would appear the latter cursor is the successor to the former, as it matches the visual style of the new Aero cursor design. There are still quite a few graphical quirks that I hope get cleaned up by RC... Go into Personalization -> Screen Saver. How long has that PC bezel been there? And why hasn't it been changed to something much more attractive yet? Install an application. Chances are, you'll still get that Win95-era PC icon. Again, why hasn't this been modernized into something that fits in with the rest of Aero? Use Office 2007 or any other application that allows you to drag things via the left margin. Notice how the pretty Aero cursor morphs into the ugly Windows 2.0 era cursor from 1986. These are just three of the biggest graphical quirks that I've found still lingering in Win7 Build 7048. Are they mission critical? No, they're not. But Win7 has so far seemingly been all about cleaning up and modernizing the OS, so it'd be a shame if those three (very obvious) legacy graphics continue to linger on. Yup, Build 7048 seems to have those low-quality icons in Personalization. It wasn't there in 7000 or 7022, so I assume it will be fixed by the RC. nautiqueskier
Group preview is only supported by microsoft products that's why. Its not per say only Microsoft products, but the programs do have to be written for it. There are public API's and my guess is Firefox 4.0 will support these Windows 7 specific features Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/715904-windows-7-beta-bugs/page/3/#findComment-590678620 Share on other sites
