On the technet site it says:

Thanks for your interest in the Windows 7 Beta. The volume has been phenomenal -- we?re in the process of adding more servers to handle the demand. We?re sorry for the delay and we?ll re-post the Beta as soon as we can ensure a quality download experience.

So I imagine we just have to wait it out a bit, and fill out the form there.

Ok here's the deal:

Earlier today before 12pm PST the technet site went live ( http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/dd353205.aspx )

It got hammered but some people managed to fill in a form, and "register" for a key. If you didn't get that far then you can't get a key until MS bring the servers back up.

IF you did get that far, then you can repeatadly hammer these two url's to try and get your key (must be logged in with passport):

https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx

https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx

If your getting the windows 7 site then your wasting you time.

The thing here is in MICROSOFT PROFILE!

To view https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx or its 64-bit page correctly you MUST LOG IN INTO YOUR MICROSOFT PROFILE (ITS NOT THE SAME AS LIVE ID) using https://profile.microsoft.com ONLY THEN YOU can keep updating and waiting for your key to appear!

I just did the 64 and 32bit URL's again for the heck of it to see if they'll be different and they aren't. The keys are the same and I guess are linked to your passport account. To get another key, you have to register whenever they re-open under another live account.

Worked like a charm!!! Thanks!

I've been following this thread for awhile now.

To get your key (from what others are reporting)

Goto (for 64 bit):

https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx

Goto (for 32 bit)

https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx

When it redirects, simply re-paste into your browser the address and keep hammering at it until it works.

Once again, its posted at udtechie.blogspot.com

I have yet to get this to work.

    • ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE keyboard is 27% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The ASUS ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE is currently $159.99 on Amazon, down from $219.99. That's 27% off and $60 saved on a keyboard that combines retro and modern design, while being one of the most responsive and adaptable 75% boards available right now (purchase link down below). The ROG Falchion Ace comes with the HFX V2X magnetic switches that allow you to set actuation anywhere between 0.1mm and 3.5mm with 0.01mm fine-tuning steps. It also comes with Rapid Trigger, a feature that resets the key the moment you release it rather than waiting for a fixed reset point, which makes a noticeable difference in fast-paced games. And finally, an 8,000Hz polling rate should make the response time feel instant. The build quality is decent, with dense plastic and powder-coated aluminum, which is expected from a keyboard at this price point. There’s also the onboard adjustment wheel, which lets you tweak actuation and Rapid Trigger sensitivity without opening any software. For competitive gaming, the ROG Falchion Ace is hard to beat at this price. And those who appreciate old-school hardware, especially those white keyboards we’ve all grown up with, will likely also appreciate the looks of this keyboard. A carry case is included.
