OK for those who got it working, talk us through what you did.

What page you signed into, with what you signed into with and then the process after that.

1. Sign into Live Account

2. Go to the Technet Windows 7 CPP site (it was still up at the time)

3. Choose English, click x64 button

4. ((Green Circle loading thinggy)) -> Fill out a short survey, they want to know your occupation, etc.

5. Upon submitting you get redirected to the keys site at profile.microsoft.com

6. ((Repeated F5 presses since 12:30pm PST)) Server Busy

7. Key displayed on the page. It's now 5:35pm PST

8. Jubilation ensues.

Worked here too, 64-bit was right away.

Just got it to work. I managed to get through most of the form (when it was working) on Technet hours and hours ago. Refreshing the 64bit version of the key pages mentioned finally gave me the key.

Now, the fun is trying to get the silly download to work. I dread to think how much bandwidth I've wasted today getting to about 500meg through the download only to have it cancel on me. Flashget isn't any better, either.

i doubt such issues would be seen if the download was using BT and key was assigned after installation of 7 upon request from within 7 ...

I didn't get any luck refreshing at the 32-bit, but first try on 64-bit and I got it!

WOW that **** actually worked.. For those of you trying to use the 32 bit method.. I did that FOREVER.. and it didnt work.. But the first time I did the 64 bit method it worked perfect..

Instructions I followed was here

here is the error you should get

If you get that error you are good to go, just keep typing in that link... If you look at the screenshot you see I have a bookmark called beta.. I just created a new bookmark called beta directing to https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/sc...w&LCID=1033

Just keep pressing that thing until you get the popup that shows

- Cleared out cookies/temp files

- Went to http://technet.microsoft.com - logged in.

- Pasted in https://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/pr...us/default.aspx

Mods should edit there article and put those instructions... it works. Got both 32 bit (took longer) and 64 bit (first try I got it) keys

Now when the links actually work, will it still let us get a 32 bit also you think? Links actually working meaning getting them the legit way.
