I just got my x64 using the Click4Change method with 3 tabs @ 15 seconds. Keep the address copied, so you can paste it back into the browser, because every so often it will pass you to another page.

I'm using 4 tabs with 5 seconds, the only change I'm normally happening is that the 'page not found' on the MS site, how long did it take you for your key?

It takes a while; took me about 4 hours with Check4Change running in 7 tabs simultaneously @ 3 seconds per refresh to get a key.

Just need to be patient. A lot of people are trying all at the same time to get a key, and the servers are just being overloaded; just keep trying, and you'll get a key. Or, if you have patience, try in about 12 hours. The servers should be fine by then (hopefully).

I'll keep a couple more tabs open, go play oblivion and check back every now and again. At least I got Windows 7. :)

C4C has been refreshing the damn page every 5 seconds for the past 5 hours.

For christ sakes! I feel like I'm mixing red and blue paint together, expecting it to turn green. This game Microsoft has us playing just to get a simple key is beyond ridiculous.

Must just be luck of the draw. Are you trying to get a x64 or x86 key?

if you're using vista and haven't enabled admin account you can ues start >> enter cmd in search form >> hold ctrl and shift and therewhile hit enter

im stuck with limited features as i cant find a graphics driver.... stuck in aero basic without all the eye candy :(

i'm running the leaked version since two weeks now.. and i was sitting the whole night (16hours so far) pressing f5

i'm sorry this was a "non-conform" post.. but i've been waiting the whole night.. and even if a few of all out there will get a key when servers are available again (perhaps sunday to monday).. there's a higher equest then 2,5m and i don't hink redmond will change this limit.. so it was just a hint to alle the ones waiting like me for hours and hours to get news..

but as i said: i'm sorry..

They will change the limit because there has been a phenomenal request! Microsoft was not prepared as always. And do not create posts on this forum with illegal ways.

Vmware only runs Vmware drivers so you will not be able to run GFX drivers, am i right? install it on a real machine naturally :p native baby

everyones own choise.. i'm running the lekaed version on a seperated new system and checked source code before i used it..

so i can tell you, this is no mal- or whatever -ware..

and if you want to run the beta on a productive system, you can't have even read the official instractions.. so even if it would be infected (what it's not!) there you got the choise to run the beta for 30 days on a clean system, or to run it till august on a instable, ensecured system. what do you think why this is a beta. because vendor don't think it's stable and it cause mal your system!?

And you won't GET the eye candy under VMWare either. AFAIK, no virtualization software supports anything other than a basic VGA driver. If you want the eye candy, you'll have to install it properly.

I don't think you can have aero in a virtual environment. And also, I think the key is just so you can have it activated for a longer period of time. It has nothing to do with the extra bells and whistles of Windows 7.
