CAIRO shell Alpha test begins January 15th 2009!

just thought i would let people know that the countdown has begun over at http://cairoshell.com/ for January 15th for the Milestone 1 Alpha test of Cairo shell. If you are asking how do i know that the countdown is for the alpha its simple i read it on their forum

Honestly i think that this project has great potential however it has taken them a long time to get where they are (even though they did lose all their data a while back)

I cannot wait until there is an open beta or the final release i think it will be great.

No matter what site you upload them to, we can still get them taken down because it is leaked material that is against the agreement that you chose "Agree" to when you installed Cairo.

No, no you can't. Think of all the leaked screenshots of other products over the years. EULA's aren't legally binding anyway so good luck trying to use that :p The most you can do is boot them out of the beta program.

And yeah, post up the screenshots loveheart :p

Put the screenshots up again at native resolution onto some imagehosting website like ImageShack. I'm sure many people would appreciate it, it's had enough bad press as it is. Let the naysayers at least see it. ;)

Cairo = FAIL. If that is all it does then what is the hype all about? no offense to the programmers, but it looks crap, and doesnt do anything new that other programs out there have been doing for years anyway. :\

Though it's really not that bad, it's not as great as they hyped it up to be. It's nothing more than a fancy applications launcher.
