What makes you think people here wish they had OSX? Just curious.

Because that's what it looks like to me? You know, an observation...

For myself I prefer having my taskbar on top since using Ubuntu and other Linux distros. I also enjoy using RocketDock because I have a ton of shortcuts that would just clutter the main taskbar and would look terrible if I had all those icons on the desktop itself. I really don't care about OSX, but I'll admit that their dock implementation isn't bad (which RocketDock obviously borrows from).

I used to like having it at the top too, even back on win95, but I always found too many applications couldn't deal with that and would open up with the top bar hidden under the taskbar, some still do it now which is a pain. But yes, I like the taskbar/superbar at the top. :)

Looking at your screenshot again, yeah, you like your shortcuts :), but as you say, rocketdock obviously borrows from OSX, so therefore the connection is going to be made.

and rocketdock is so much better than the OSX dock. Much more customizable and you still get the better window management of the taskbar!

i changed mine up a little bit. I took almost all my pinned icons off my taskbar because thats lame when i can use a dock that doesnt take up valuable taskbar space :p

not sure about the dock but im pretty sure the alien dude is vent (ventrilo)

The white head with the sunglasses and mic is the Ventrilo icon. :) The egg-shaped dude is Digsby, I think.
